Shouldn't the Indians be having a parade? After all, they are the only natives...well, on second thought, I guess it can't happen. We killed them all.

What is this? A production from the highly creative,

Why are Puerto Ricans so cool? Well, read on!
We are a mix of the best of every race.
Our legal age to be drinking is 18.
The Piña Colada is a great drink known around the world and was invented in Puerto Rico

We are not only bilingual but we can speak "Spanglish"
Our women are the most beautiful in the world,(5 Miss Universe)
We are LATIN, and yet AMERICANS
Mofongo (that's all I have to say)
In Puerto Rico, any road will take you to a beach..... or a pub.
We are the only "territory" of another country with our own Olympic teams
We do everything under the sun... because we CAN!
Because even though we are a territory we are still a whole NATION.
We don't need to take vacations to be in a tropical paradise. In Puerto Rico everything is really close.
I can call you sir ("USTED"), and insult you in the same sentence.
Our Spanish is completely different than any other Spanish speaking country.
We all have cool nicknames.
We have the best athletes in the world.
We make some of the best coffee of the world.
WE CAN DANCE!!!!!!!!!
They come to Puerto Rico from around the world to hire our engineers and scientists.
We are the country with more roads by square mile (and there is still traffic).
We have the longest swimming pool in the world (Cerromar)
La "Calle del Cristo" (San Juan P.R.) was the first road of "The New World" to be paved.
The 86% of the rum drank in the U.S. is from Puerto Rico.
We have more female engineers than any other country (and you still call us machoist?)
We know how to party, without absurd curfew laws.
We are the major RUM manufacturers of the world.
The bats for the Movie Batman Forever were filmed in Las Cuevas de Camuy, P.R.
We invented the MayoKetchup!
We beat (kicked) the DREAM TEAM US basketball team in the 2004 Olympics
Puerto Rico has one of the world's highest productivity ratios.
Salsa music was the fastest growing genre in the last 20 years.
Four Puerto Ricans received the Congressional Medal of Honor Euripides Rubio, Carlos Lozada, Héctor Santiago & Fernando Luis Ledesma García.
Only 4 baseball players have hit 2 Home Runs in the same inning; 3 of them
are Puerto Ricans (Roberto Clemente, Roberto Alomar y Carlos Baerga).
Tito Trinidad (boxer) never went to the Olympics but defeated 4 gold medal champions.
A Puerto Rican, Nellie Toledo, designed the 1984 Camaro Berlinetta.
We were the 5th country in THE WORLD to have a radio station (before Washington D.C.)
Junior Cordero (Puerto Rican) won the Kentucky Derby 3 times.
Puerto Rico also has the world's largest radio telescope.
There are only 7 fluorescent lagoons in the world; We have 4 of them.
Giovanni Hidalgo (Puerto Rican) is considered the best percussionist in THE WORLD.
Jose Feliciano, is in the top 3 guitar players in THE WORLD (don't forget he is blind).
The Discovery 500; Solar car designed by the Mayaguez College won 41 awards en Sunrayace, Iowa in 1993.
We established the first lottery system in the "New World".
NOT TOO BAD FOR A 100 X 35 MILE ISLAND...HUh
Pretty cool information. I am sure many people did not know much of this. I know I didn't. Try not to hit the post comment more than once, though. lol

The 65th Infantry Regiment, nicknamed "The Borinqueneers", was an all-volunteer Puerto Rican regiment of the United States Army. Its motto was Honor and Fidelity. It participated in World War I, World War II, and the Korean War. In 1956, the 65 Infantry was deactivated and became the only unit ever to be transferred from an active Army component to the Puerto Rico National Guard.
Puerto Ricans have participated in every major American military conflict, from the American Revolution.
On February 12, 1951, General Douglas MacArthur, was quoted in Tokyo saying the following:[19]
"The Puerto Ricans forming the ranks of the gallant 65th Infantry on the battlefields of Korea…are writing a brilliant record of achievement in battle and I am proud indeed to have them in this command. I wish that we might have many more like them."

All white people came from Europe this land America and the Carribean belongs to Native Indians. No white person or decendant from European blood belongs in this land. Working hard in America does not make you an American. The white belong back in Europe where they belong. Racist, violent crimanals who where not even wanted in their own land. So that's why they came to America to take land that does not belong to them and kill and try to destroy Indians. Now they think they belong here. No, they are confused we let them stay here because we r not like them. We are good people who forgive and understand that there own people did not want to help them and that they would have died if it where not for us The True Americans. This is our Land & We Stay here. You choose to continue on thinking that you r better then others but you continue in your Ignorence but I don't blame you. It's in your blood Evil blood that comes from Hell. If you don't want to live with Hispanics, AfroAmerican and Native Indians then go back to Hell you ignorant, violent demon racist. Not trying to offend the white who have no ignorance in them and understand that this is our Land. To Oseola Pulse you need to study the Puerto Rican History it's not like other islands. It's a beautifull Island where alot of Indians live in. They don't call in the Pearl of the Carribean for anything.

So much pride and so much to be proud of. They must be proud of the over 700 murders on their island in 2007. Or how they throw cats and dogs off bridges to dispose of them. Mi Orgullo!

So much pride, so much to be proud of, yet they all come here to live. If you are so proud of your island why leave? That's what I always wonder. I guess you're really not that proud after all or you'd stay there. I guess since you know we don't want you here that you all band together and try to show us your bravado.

These people are such an embarassment to themselves with these celebrations, yet they don't realize it. Do they honestly think that we don't know about who they are and where they came from?

Just look at what they have done to Kissimmee over the past 10 years and all the once decent neighborhoods they have devalued and left in shambles. Dirve through Poinciana or BVL to see the real pride of Puerto Ricans and to see what they are really all about.

You can't take people who lived in a ghetto, with a ghetto upbringing, and mentality, and put them in a suburan environment and expect that they will know how to conform or function. They have no clue because they have never lived it or experienced it in their lives. They are all coming here to Central Florida from the slums of New Jersey, NYC, Philly and their island: which is entirely a slum except for the tourist areas. These people have brought nothing but trouble and destruction to Kissimmee, Central Florida and every other place they have taken over. So again I ask: what are you all so proud of?

You're making me laugh dude.
Every PR woman I have seen down here looks exactly the same as the next with the giant rear ends, bulbus foreheads and peanut shaped heads, the big brown stretched marked bellies spilling over the low cut jeans that are ten sizes too small. They apparently only have two womens hairstyles in Puerto Rico: the pulled back unwashed greasy hair in a pony tail, or ghetto kinky long spirals with the Jeri-Curl in it. No variation from those two styles only various shades of unnatural colors of red, purple, and orange. They all must shop at the same Kissimmme flea markets for their jewelry and make up since they ALL wear the giant gold hoop earings that say "Angel" on them, and they all wear bright red hooker lipstick and bad eyeliner.

Your music is absolute garbage with the same instruments and same beat in every song. That Marc Antony looks like Frankenstein Jr. and J-Blo looks like evry other Rican when she takes off her make up.

I live amongst your people and I know firts hand what you're really all about, and let me tell you brother you have nothing to be proud of. Just becasue you have a very small handful of successful people doesn't mean that the other 99.9% of your are like them in any way when 65% of island residents are on public assitance, your crime is totally out of control, and drug use and distribution is the national pasttime. The only three things PR has contributed to the world over the past 400 years is: Rum, coffee beans, and more Ricans. That's really not much to be proud of.

Let's not forget that only yesterday PR's Governor Acevedo was indicted on 19 charges of election fraud, conspiracy, and giving false testimony to the FBI...among others. 12 others were indicted with him. Great example of a PR leader who likes having the benefits of a relationship with the US, but thinks the Feds are picking on him.

Maybe his opponent will win next time and the territory will actively seek Independence.

El Sentinel also likes to delete any negative comments about Puerto Ricans. Why not let the truth be told by people who deal with them every day instead of painting them as wonderful folks all the time. The majority of them in Central Florida are not wonderful folks. They are here to take what they can for as long as they can, and every one of them will tell you they want to go back to their island some day

Now, didn't ABC prove my point perfectly? Proud of a Pina Colada? Proud that PR makes the most rum? PR is a third world country entirely dependent on the USA. Pound your chest all you want, but at the end of the day, your country would not exist without our deep pockets.

The good thing about this festival is that
maybe they'll all be attending it and the
rest of us might get to enjoy other areas

Here's another little piece of information, for all of you proud PR patriots:

...Puerto Rico's murder rate was already sky high. Last year, there were 20 slayings per 100,000 residents, or 2.8 times the U.S. national rate (6.9) and 3 times New York City's rate (6.6).

And things are getting much, much worse.

In the first 15 days of 2007, island authorities report 46 murders in Puerto Rico, or double the number of killings during the same period last year.

That's 46 murders in 15 days....

Barack is beating Hillary in every category; states won, popular vote and pledged delegates. Barack continues to run an excellent high road campaign, while Hillary busies herself slinging mud and lies from the gutter. Yes, the Clintons are being... the Clintons.

With popular Pennsylvania Senator Casey's endorsement, the millions of newly registered young Pennsylvaia voters and Hillary's Bosnia fiasco, I predict her double digit lead will wind up as no more than a two or three point win at best... at best! the Vets are ticked at Hillary.

Her Pennsylvania "win" will be a final shattering blow to her candidacy. North Carolina and Indiana will then tack on the final "GOODBYE HILLARY" message to Untruthful Hillary, the Queen of Fabrication.

The racist agitation didn't work, Shawn Hannity's endless Wright loop didn't work, the false Muslim label didn't stick, the bogus Pledge scam against the guy (barack) who frequently LEADS the Pledge in the Senate didn't stick, the Rezko scandal wasn't enough... so how now, you Hillaryite cows?

What new set of lies and fabrications will the Hillary Hucksters and McCains Geritrollers adopt?

They better keep their heads low and run for Fox News, there's snipers out there firing truth bullets and Hillary is mortally wounded.
