Yeah, I suspected he sounded like a typical Sinhala "try hard". A real Oxford graduate wouldn't associate with the racist trolls on this forum.

The evil in the Tamil culture, which was transmitted to Prabhakaran, is represented precisely and accurately in the Tamil Tiger flag flown by the Tamil expatriates as their symbol of pride and glory. It is the most obscene flag under the sun. There isn’t a single redeeming feature in it to project the Tamils as members of a civilized race. Its violent symbols – a snarling tiger putting his carnivorous head out of a ring of thirty-three bullets placed against two crossed guns fixed with bayonets – represent only a barbaric, blood-thirsty culture inherited from the Vellahlas. Every inch of the Tiger flag questions the values of the Tamils and their capacity to co-exist with non-Tamil communities in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-religious world.

The misguided Tamils might read it as a sign of their power. But where have their tigers, bullets, guns and bayonets taken them? It is a flag that is comparable only to the skull and cross-bones of the marauding pirates. It is a flag that can only lead the Tamils to further deaths and destruction under another fascist leadership. And yet the Tamils spread out in the globe continue to hero worship Prabhakaran, the designer of the hideous flag. They seem to be possessed by the fascist DNA of their Tamil forefathers who despised their own people and kicked them around as if they were pariah dogs. In a sense, it is fitting that they should fly this flag because it not only exhibits their vile past but guarantees that the future will be no different.

Stupid Modaya, have you bothered to check out the national flag. How many peaceful buddhist countries have a snarling lion carrying a sword? Pathetic.

Challenged and made helpless by the hard evidences in the form of archeological remains found length and breath of north east which are corroborated by the chronicles of their existences, the Eelamist have gone to the extent of resorting to claim an existence of a Tamil Buddhist culture in Sri Lanka. Case in point is Kadurugoda Viharaya Tamilnized as Kanthrodai

The parallels between the LTTE and Nazi ideology are also revealing. Examples: a false exclusive mono-ethnic traditional homelands, ethnic cleansing, indoctrination of the gullible by raw racist propaganda, undisputed rule by one man, brainwashing of the young through a fictional history.

The Nazis were in power for its propaganda only for a period of 12 years from 1933 to 1945 compared with the nearly 35 years of propaganda the separatist forces carried out among Tamils in Sri Lanka. This propaganda extended to a massive invention of history. For example, the Royal Asiatic Society (RAS) findings of Sinhala Buddhist remains at Kandarodai in Jaffna in 1917 by Paul Pieris and Rasanayagam, the author of Ancient Jaffna were changed by Jaffna academics during the LTTE control to be "Tamil Buddhist" unconnected with the rest of Sri Lanka. A total new fictional history indirectly justifying separatism was created and fed to the Northern population for several decades.

The lessons learnt from Germany are very clear. Decades long, brainwashing does not vanish after a military victory. The problem is not with the Diaspora, it is here among the brainwashed. Concerted efforts should be made to clear the virus. In our case, it is to remove teaching a false invented history with fictional traditional homelands. All those who subscribe to this should be removed from government and university employment. Indian Tamil separatism was stopped after the 1962 China war through its 16th Amendment banning separatism.

The soils in Sri Lanka are highly acidic meaning only small fragments of items are preserved after 2000 years. What it tells me is you have little knowledge other than trolling these forums and lamenting over your dead father Praba.

Hailing from Jaela and with a name Perera you must be either from the Salagama or Karawa community. either way you just descended from very recently Sinhalised low caste/dalit indentured/slave Indian Tamil labour that was imported in to the island either by the Portuguese or by the Dutch. Your homealnd and the homeland of most of the so called coastal Sinhalese are the slums of Southern Tamilnadu and Kerala. Mad dog. My homeland. Yo are just another another recent import like the vast majority of the so called Sinhalese and Sri Lankan Muslims from South India now screeching and screaming that you are the pure sons of the soil. Just like that Javanese slave dog Rahim from London. Just because your ancestors changed their religion and langauge, does nto make you indigenous. Understood homeless slave dog whose ancestors were forced to change their identity to survive.

Elias,
I could not agree more with you, the sri lankan flag is a singhalese-Aryan flag, not a buddhist one. Nobody should confuse it as a religious flag, it is our political and ethnic flag.
there is a also buddhist flag which is hoisted on Buddhist holidays like vesak. That is our religious flag.
The sri lanka flag has existed more or less unchanged since the first singhalese kings ruled the island. It is one of the world's earliest symbols to be on a flag. Norwegians tell me that theirs date back to the Vikings, which is later. Macedonians use the sun , which dates back to ancient times.
bhutan, als Buddhist country has a dragon- which I think is dynastic symbol.

Elephant Pass, WAS THE BORDER between Jaffna, stolen by the Portuguese from Sinhalese and the Sinhalese Kingdom of Kandy, in 16xx, according to the Dutch

Who is lying?
Tamils or the Dutch?

Here is an extract from a document in the Dutch National Archives that proves CONCLUSIVELY that Elephant Pass was the Border with the Dutch controlled Jaffna Peninsula and the Rest of the Island, Controlled by the Sinhalese.

As I see it, this Fraudulent Homeland Claim is the biggest obstacle to reconciliation

Extract
During the 17th century the Company was engaged in a war of attrition with the king of Kandy, who had close ties with Ceylon’s Buddhist population. There was a narrow tongue of land at Elephant Pass a fort was built to guard the border with the king’s territory .

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Cancer

The question of who and what you should believe is never far away today. Someone could easily mislead you, although it's a moot point whether they do this intentionally or not. Or there could be a communication glitch that means no one knows what's going on. Be very careful when handling money because there could be lots of silly mistakes, and if you're really unlucky there might also be some double-dealing too.
