The whole slide show was fascinating and I learned a lot. The really scary part is that of "a possible blast of pyroclastic flow—a superheated, fast-moving, low-lying mix of toxic gas and ash."

It sounds like a wave of death.

Many of them saw the pyroclastic flow coming towards them and were holding each other. They were found having died in tight embrace. When you think about them holding together in their last moment you can't help but feel their humanity, sad and poetic.
