I am speaking out to my fellow Filipinos only. Opinions from an agitated sect like those in LA don't matter. Filipinos like me, who ride the jeep everyday. Filipinos WHO WORK EVERYDAY. Filipinos like me na nabubusog sa anim na pisong pancit canton lang.
A silent lower class who don't even own a car but have sensibitlies. This is the SILENT majority.

I belong to a silent MAJORITY who don't get easily swayed or are gullible to MEDIA sensationalism.
Edsa One was spontaneous, our free outcry.
Edsa Two was a free decision to right a wrong, to clean up a presidency elected by the gullible masses.
Both instances were free decisions of a thinking majority (there is NO Edsa 3. It was just an unsuccessful riot of a rally.)
When the senate hearing regarding the Velarde accounts were aired, there were no media opinions on what we are to do. We surmised, deduced for ourselves and found each other in Edsa. Instantly.
No personalities forced us. No media made us think twice. Now,we have the press spoon feeding us with allegations after allegations resorting to suggestions of people power.
That is for US to decide. Let the silent majority decide. We are not that gullible. How many coups, rallies and "people powers" were thrown at this present government but to no avail. Coz we the majority are not there. We think and not just react. And we are damn tired of a TV network who still have a pending case of backstabbing another TV network on telling us what to do. We are not that hopeless a nation. We never receive survey forms. How many of you have even seen a survey form? Yet "surveys" after "surveys" readily published in media tell of how hopeless our nation is. If that is true then this government would've been thrown out a long time ago. We are not kids who easily believe in half truths and hearsays. Media has been successful in just one thing: make a fad of Gloria bashing. If you're not a loud Gloria bashing person, then you're out. Sorry but we don't wanna join a fad to be in a fad. Concrete proofs first, a really sunk economy and the death of democracy..then you will see us, the silent Majority out there..the way we did in Edsa 1 and 2. On our own free will. On our own wise decisions NOT dictated by any institution or strident persons!

The 13 economies were China, Japan, Macau, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
The survey had excluded countries notorious for corruption, such as Myanmar and Bangladesh.
Poll results showed that Philippines had the worst score out of the 13 economies. It was cited as an example where its government lacked the political will to tackle the problem, despite huge economic progress.
Thailand was ranked 12th after Indonesia, which had made improvements under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. But the report said the perception of a corrupt bureaucracy remained strong among businessmen.
Malaysia retained its sixth ranking, but achieved a worse score compared to last year’s survey.

- On a scale of zero to ten, zero being the best possible score.

But Bush idiotly sent his allies' soldiers/people to the frontlines, resulting in some Filipinos, Japanese, and Korean soldiers/civilians killed or kidnapped. The US soldiers later braved the sands of Iraq ALONE after US allies left one by one... feeling deceived by your bright president, realizing that the Iraq war is not worth it.
Filipinos in the US worked hard for their american dollars, so thats what they are sending here, like the Irish, the English, the Polish, the Spaniards, the Chinese, the Japanese, the Israelites, the Mexicans, the Indians, Thai, and all the other nationalities working in the US, had since been doing. The immigrant labor force, where there are so many filipinos, was so underpaid and so efficient,that US economy flourished. Do you realize that you idiot Javi?
Direct Dollar resources to the Philippines did not come from America per se, but rather borrowed from the World Bank, or the IMF, and other international banks, which the Philippines had since been paying with agreed interests.
If foreign loans come in dollars, it does not mean to be "American money sent to help the pilipino children". You are either highly misinformed or had plainly misled your poor self. Or worse, you may just be innately ignorant, naive, innocent and clueless, that's why you blog like a mother-f___ing moron, imbecile or idiot.
Javi, FYI, the last legal cash foreign aid received from the US was 60 years ago, to rehabilitate world war 2-torn philippines after the US had bombed then-japanese-invaded Manila into dust. Thus, it was a big mistake for you to speculate stupidly and irresponsibly that the US had been sending free American money, because each and every loan from international banks, not the US, will be paid.
In fact, Javi, US debts with these same international banks already reached tens of trillions of your dollars. Your country's debt rose remarkably because of Bush's prideful and useless war, where only he, his family and friends became rich, as the US enters the present recession.
Can you ascertain, little Bitch Javi, that the world price of oil is directly proportional to the time or duration the US occupies Iraq? In short, the longer the US stays in Iraq, the higher the price of oil becomes.
Why? Because of seeming US intimidation and threats in formerly neutral oil-producing countries such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Jordan, Syria, Pakistan, Turkey, etc., where the US preaches democracy in the guise and pretext of "balancing the power in the middle-east". Oil producing countries are only doing their little revenge, or poetic justice, by lowering their oil productions, to gain leverage against US geo-political pressure.
A high oil price means more asian and Pilipino children getting hungry, while your president Bush alone gets rich in oil profits.
Understand Javi that your country is not as wise and as rich as it wants asshole citizens like you to believe!
