excerpt;
In addition, FIDH called the policy against those who try to enter US territory a serious and unacceptable violation of the right to life.

It refers specifically to persecution of immigrants by the US Border Patrol, along with demonstrated use of frenzied lethal force against illegal immigrants.

The treatment accorded Mexican immigrants and the current alarming level of racial discrimination against Latinos living in the United States near the border were also included in the FIDH report.

Did they also denounce Mexico's treatment of illegals in their country by their military and police? Or doesn't robbery, beatings, rape and murder count?

The FIDH? I've never even heard of it. And "frenzied" abuse? What the hell? If there was such frenzied abuse, why are they still coming by the thousands? They're all masochists?

I saw a video of alleged "frenzied border patrol agents" on one of those "I hate whitey sites". One demonstrator cleary body slams a border patrol agent after multiple warnings they started whacking people. The video shows the agents shooting the people with paint guns. Wow brilliant, you mark the trouble makers with paint for easier identification in the mob lol. Don't paintball me bro!!

"In addition, FIDH called the policy against those who try to enter US territory a serious and unacceptable violation of the right to life".

This was published in Mexico? LMAO!!

If this isn't a two-faced remark. Google 'Mexico ILLEGAL ALIEN laws' and you will what happens to ILLEGAL ALIENS in Mexico.

A definite case of "do as I say---not as I do"!

If ILLEGAL ALIENS dislike how they are treated they can stay in Mexico.

If I rob a bank do I have the right to complain about the food in prison? Absolutely not. I do, however, have the right to make sure I do not go back.

So I guess border officer Luis Aguilar was engaging in frenzied abuse when he attempted to lay down spike strips to stop an SUV that had entered the US illegally?

I wonder what the FIDH would call Mr. Aguilar's death as a result of being hit and killed by that SUV which then turned around and drove back into Mexico.

Would FIDH say Mr. Aguilar deserved to be killed? I mean trying to stop that SUV was abusive right?

How disgusting.

Mexico to bolster immigrant defense
Anti-defamation league weighed as consulates in U.S. go on offensive
08:21 AM CDT on Thursday, October 4, 2007

http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/n...

Morning News
The Mexican government is giving its consulates in the U.S. wide latitude to ramp up a campaign to toughen their defense of immigrants and plans to give them more resources as well, officials familiar with the strategy said

The move comes as deportations reach an all-time high in the toughest crackdown in decades by the U.S. government and police authorities.
Among the actions under discussion are the * creation of an anti-defamation league similar to that focused on protecting Jews; budget increases for some of the 47 consulates, especially in regions such as North Texas, where Mexican migration has been swift and plentiful; and a MEDIA CAMPAIGN Aimed at Counteracting groups opposed to illegal immigration and sometimes legal immigration.

Now I am going to say who the victim really is. It is the child that no longer has a parent because an illegal alien drove drunk. It is the family that had their idenity stolen and now their credit ruined. It is the little girl or boy who was raped or molested and when out on bail the Mexican citizen changed idenity and simply moved. It is every one of the hard working tax paying citizens of this nation that must save to afford our children. Who work hard pay all of our bills, only to see our children and grandchildren have the demand for Spanish teachers and that cost eat up their buget for music or band. How about science? How about the man who has worked hard all of his life only to be replaced at a factory or a construction job by an illegal? An illegal that the boss can pay cash to off the books. Yet that same illegal gets into a fight or car wreck and heads for OUR ER and gets their treatment free and a Spanish interperter? What about the man who has a family to support and he is in a car wreck caused by an illegal? Now he is disabled, that man is a vicitm! His family is the victim.
What about the little city that becomes burdened with a growing illegal population? Their school numbers grow and the tax base at the same time is DRAINED by illegals who do not earn on the books, therefore show no income and because of anchor babies, qualify for welfare. Section 8 housing and food stamps. That city is stressed by the overwelming demands. It happens every day in way too many lives. The VICTIMS folks are the American people and thier children. We no longer get the services and the services available have shrunk. There are limited funds and they are being drained. That is targeted discrimination of the Nation of Mexico's strategy to maintain the second highest income the nation has.. money sent back to it from its citizens. We the citizens of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ARE MALTREATED BY THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT AND ITS PEOPLE!

Looks very hypocritical to me. If we only had the same immigration laws and treat illegal aliens just like they do in Mexico. Then all would be right in the world.

If we would only learn.

Outrageous. Persecution of "immigrants" what a spin. "Frenzied lethal force" all HYPE words, inflamatory.

Yeah, that IS bullshit. I forget the whiny, weaselly attorney's name....oh yes, Sutton. He and the other weasel, Gonzalez worked for W when he was Governor, busy spending most of his time playing computer games. I'll bet there's PLENTY those two could be incarcerated for. I can't believe Ramos and Compean (sp?) are still in jail. They need a GREAT attorney who will file lawsuits for them and get them HUGE settlements, plus reinstatement in the BP, plus all back pay. One of them lost his house because of this. They need pay him the value of his house at the time of incarceration, since housing values are dropping.
Today, I read Bustamante gave a report on Mexico's inhumane treatment of illegal aliens. It was FAR worse than the report on us. I can't remember where I saw it. It might have been on Border Patrol Report.

Creating their OWN ADL? The existing ADL already has part of their website set aside JUST for the "immigration" issue. The opening page states:

As an organization with a long and proud tradition of defending civil liberties for all, ADL has in recent years taken a lead role in exposing the virulent anti-immigrant and xenophobic rhetoric that has risen to the surface as part of the national debate over immigration. ADL speaks out against discrimination and bigotry and advocates a meaningful and substantive policy that honors America’s promise as a nation of immigrants.

The League has:

* Shined light on the atmosphere of hate that has surrounded the debate among right-wing extremists and anti-immigration groups;
* Issued reports on the co-opting of the issue by extremists and hatemongers;
* Opposed policies that are discriminatory or encourage racial profiling;
* Encouraged relationships between the immigrant community and local law enforcement;
* Advocated for comprehensive immigration reform;
* Partnered with Hispanic and other immigrant groups at the local and national levels;
* Re-issued A Nation of Immigrants, John F. Kennedy’s classic essay celebrating the immigrant experience in America.

As far as the ADL - their minds are firmly made up and there can be no discussion. As far as they're concerned, if you're anti-ILLEGAL, you're automatically a bigot, hatemonger, xenophobe, extremist and anti-IMMIGRANT -- PERIOD.

Please notice how they themselves infer it's about Hispanic immigrants rather than about ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS (in picture and word form)

http://www.adl.org/Civil_Rights/immigration.a...

Disgusting propaganda. Shame on you ADL.
