Or the reason why the US still keeps bases in Japan and Korea when already there have been several complaints about the soldiers abusing their power and harassing the local women? Or your "patriots" stationed in the Middle East bombing innocent civilians and helping to fuel the drug trade there? Or how about that nauseating story about the servicemen who raped a 12 year old girl and then set her house on fire?
Or what about the US keeping leaders like Pinochet and Allende in power because it suited their needs? Or Fast and Furious? Or the US backed coup in El Salvador that led thousands of people fleeing their homes?

You would do well to stop complaining that it's "Mexicans this and immigrants that" when you forget that precisely the reason why many nations are still poor, violent, and despairing is because governments like your like to keep them that way. We would love a future where we feel safe and secure, but right now that isn't possible because your junkies create a job market for criminals here. If the US weren't so keen on getting high all the time then there would hardly be any drug runners here now.
