"Those in the study had served an average of 15 years and had been deployed an average of three times. About one-quarter had been deployed to Afghanistan at least once. Ninety-two per cent of them were men."

If gender equality was brought up to par and women were committing suicide in the same number's as the men, there would be public outrage and million's upon million's of dollar's and resources would be thrown at the problem.

The disposable male has more meaning than one might think.

Most of these men have families and are boy friend, husband and fathers to children.. I believe it is very hard for a partner to see their man of the house suffer from psychiatric illnesses like (PTSD) post-traumatic stress disorder and am not talking about those men who have committed suicide.
I agree with outdoors on this matter "If gender equality was brought up to par and women were committing suicide in the same number's as the men, there would be public outrage". Women and their children are losing the men to suicide, and why these wives and mother's don't stand up and fight for change in the system got me beat?

Commiting suicide is an easy job.
But exposing the system is not.
After reading all the views in Topix and other forums i had sported with an idea to commit suicide.
Now i wish to avoid anysort of quick fix solutions

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Leo

This is a great day for fixing things that have gone wrong. If there have been ructions in your relationship with a certain person this is when you can sort things out and get them back on track. If an appliance or gadget is going on the blink, this is your cue to either get it mended or chuck it out and replace it. You may also find time to tidy up your immediate surroundings or take all those bottles and papers to your nearest recycling center. How virtuous you'll feel when it's all done!
