This is one of the most devastating things to happen to Ethiopia. Meles Zenawi was a meticulous and capable leader. His death is a great loss to our nation, and he will be remembered. I pray that we honor him by continuing his work.
My heart goes out to his family.

It's just a pity that such a person of his caliber passed away !!!:((((((
But amid all this difficult times i am intrigued by the reaction of the so called "diaspora's " , some though who rejoiced up on hearing the news. I am not his supporter but i admired him for his ability to at least lead his country along with africa , he was one of the prominent keynote on the continenents stride against poverty .... it's just sad sad ... be human and at least feel human ...

The problem with the wannabe politicians is education. Most have education of less than elementary school of western standard. They are dish washers, parking attendants or taxi drivers. For them cursing every one is seen as high political activity. Moreover, most come from extreamly poor families and are raised on streets and have brought that kind of behaviour to the west. IT will take generation to civilise these people. Maybe their children will be good citizens to Ethiopia. But those rifrafs who are rejoicing the death of the PM or the Pope remains a big problem to Ethiopia. The coming government should forbid them a visit to Ethiopia.

Hey diasporas,
You have to be clear with lots of things.this man is working for his country more than you. You are selfish and go abroad to find money. This the difference, don't try to judge, as you are human even if the man is bad, you don't have to be with some ones death. You are in the middle losing your identity

Ethiopia first, this is my motto. If you can't keep the good values and keep up on them, you nay no wait longer to see Ethiopia like Somalia. You see, habasha is more than gun snack, so , a leader who can fit this must be the desk.long live to Ethiopia. 1000 likes

Diasporas please stop your nuisance. We are thinking of what we can do for the better future of the country. If you are heroes come back here and do what you can do for 'your' country. oops, you can't because you left the country because you have nothing to contribute here. Stay there and do the dishes.

One thing you should never do is , forbid Ethiopian to come to his country ,even if he is stupied ! he or she might lern one day..meles has puled us out of years of mud and no body can stop the people from progressing further.
