ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — At least 15 people suspected of being Taliban militants were killed by an American drone strike late Friday in northwestern Pakistan, according to a Pakistani intelligence official and local residents.

The strike, the first since Pakistan reopened NATO supply routes this week, took place in the village of Zoi Narai of the Datta Khel subdivision, the third-largest town in North Waziristan. A drone fired four missiles at a compound owned by a Taliban commander named Rahimullah, said a local resident who was reached by telephone.

The commander, who apparently was not present at the time of the strike, is thought to be a close aide of a local warlord, Hafiz Gul Bahadur, who controls a vast part of North Waziristan, a restive tribal region used as a haven by many local and foreign militants.

Mr. Rahimullah, who uses one name, helps recruit militants to take part in offensives against Western troops across the border in Afghanistan, according to local residents

During a war between India and Pakistan in 1947 UN intervened and drew a Ceasefire Line of 1949 (later became a Line of Control after the Simla Agreement of 1972). A full princely state of Jammu and Kashmir was divided between the India and Pakistan where India could get roughly 101,387 km² and the Pakistan snatched about 85,000 km².

We also know that during the recent war between India and Pakistan, Pakistan got to keep three major hill tops of Kargil.

He refused to join india or pakistan , a position india respected and pakistan did not accept .Therefore pakistan send its armymen dressed as pathan kubails into kashmir valley.these muslims invaders gang raped kashmiri muslim women and even nun convents all for jehad and koran in 1948.

Pakistan was a fragile state right from the beginning.

It did not have an ideology similiar to one India had.

Under Nehru,strength of democracy was increased,land reforms,education,basic health services were all put into place- and above all,religion was kept at barge

Pakistan was fragile-because it had two wings not in geographic connect,no national bonding other than religion,no attempts to create a wide reaching
publicly funded tertiary education,no land reforms,no attempt to free women from traditional roles into productive members of a mixed/varied economy.

This already fragile state was radicalized in 1980's.A fresh new burden,to ones already existing was added...the fragile state BROKE!

And all the Kings men are not going to easily put together Humpty Dumpty again!
