That is what I meant, I agree with you bud! I meant that God gave the land to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.<quoted text>
Why's that? Because Jimmy Carter said so? Study your history Marlboro, with an open mind, and you will surely come to the correct solution. This land NEVER belonged to the Palestinians. Never once. Whatever incursions they have made subsequent to the Ottoman Empire were blatant aggression.

That is why it is Gods reserved action to put things straight and He will not do so for a secular Israel nor for those who reject the messiah. Those who reject the messiah, eject God and do not honor God or believe in God but care nothing for Him are void of the promise and have no inheritance. Israel has a lot of work to do to get back on good terms with God in order to make any claims in gods eyes. Which is why I think at some point Israel will switch to a religious government because they know that the status quo with their nation and their people is hopeless. They forever ride on "Gods chosen people" but the mass majority of them are either atheists or reject the messiah. Sooner or later that will sink into their national psyche. |

In fact I am Roman Catholic, but I support the right for Israel to live in peace within their homeland. I support Israel's right to claim the lands originally ceded to them in the British Mandates. I support Israel's right to recognize the blatant aggressions of Hamas and Hezbollah, supported through Damascus and Tehran, and I support the right of the Israeli people to live and prosper without the threat, the real and stated threat, of nuclear attack by Iran. If I knew that someone was going to kill me on Friday, and the only way I could save myself would be to kill my enemy on Thursday, you can believe I would do it. The choice is clear, and people like Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton have only muddied up the waters. The Palestinian people do not want peace. Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and the Saudi's do not want peace in the region, rather, they want the ultimate destruction of Israel. For no reason other than their own illegitimate claims to the land. |

You are blind - and stupid. Israel will attack Iran's NUCLEAR FACILITIES ONLY. The resulting Iranian deaths will be military and/or NUCLEAR plant workers. If Iran attacks Israel - it will kill everything. That is 20/20 vision. |

If Israelo attacks Iran, it will facilitate a war with 4 other moslem nations against Israel. The days of non missle attacks are over. We-theUS cant ge in Georgia, Poland, Pakistan, the Philipines, Japan, Cuba, Germany, Iraq, South Korea, Afganistan, Turkey, Nato, enforce the Monroe Docturne and then send troops to help Israel, We are spread way to thin. Even worse- if Obama gets elected president during his 1st term as a senator, we will have someone who knows nothing about foriegn policy or economics. Not so 20/20 because in that event Israel will be attacking civilians and civilian infrastructure. Sadly in our modern day most nations if they are going to invade another nation or do a hit and run operation the first casualties are civilians and civilian infrastructure. Not military bases or air bases or large groups of soldiers gathered on the battle fields. This is largely due to two things. #1. Intimidation of the general populace to turn against their own governments since the one destroying openly blames the civilians sorrows on their government and then later the people become divided and have their own little war going on. #2. These attacks and hit and run operations are illegal and are war crimes BUT these laws are moot, worthless and unenforceable which is why most nations engage in such behavior because they know the laws on the matter mean nothing. So if Israel attacks Iran it will be attacking civilian interests because to say that a place is a military operation one must have more proof than their word that it is just like they attacked Syria's so called nuclear military installation when subsequent investigations proved that it was not, was no radiation, no yellow cake refinery, no centrifuge's, was no nothing and Israel walks away free as a bird to do the same thing to any other country they so wish. If Iran is doing what they are doing as an effort to have nuclear weapons then proof is needed instead of endless mass hysteria being pumped into the masses as proof. Fear and paranoia now is the only proof or evidence needed to invade or do a hit and run then when the fear and paranoia wears off there is no justice because of worthless laws. That encourages retaliation and encourages other nations to illegally attack and do hit and runs. These practices destabilize the entire global community and ALL of this is disguised by and hidden behind a "preemptive" notion. |

1. Scientists in Israel, found that the brackish water, drilled from underground desert aquifers, hundreds of feet deep, could be used to raise warm-water fish. The geothermal water, less than one-tenth as saline as sea water, free of pollutants, and a toasty 98 degrees on average, proves an ideal environment.
2. Israeli-developed designer-eyeglasses, promise mobile phone and iPod users, a personalized, high-tech video display. Available to US consumers next year, Lumus-Optical's lightweight and fashionable video eyeglasses, feature a large transparent screen, floating in front of the viewer's face that projects their choice of movie, TV show, or video Game. 3. When Stephen Hawkins visited Israel recently, he shared his wisdom with scientists, students, and even the Prime Minister. But the world's most renown victim of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig's disease, also learned something, due to the Israeli Association for ALS' advanced work in both embryonic and adult stem cell research, as well as its proven track record with neurodegenerative diseases. The Israeli research community is well on its way, to finding a treatment for this fatal disease, which affects 30,000 Americans. 4. Israeli start-up, Veterix, has developed an innovative new electronic capsule that sits in the stomach of a cow, sheep, or goat, sending out real-time information on the health of the herd, to the farmer via Email or cell phone. The e-capsule, which also sends out alerts if animals are distressed, injured, or lost, is now being tested on a herd of cows, in the hopes that the device will lead to tastier and healthier meat and milk supplies. ; 5. The millions of Skype users worldwide will soon have access to the newly developed KishKish lie-detector. This free internet service, based on voice stress analysis (a technique, commonly used in criminal investigations), will be able to measure just how truthful that person on the other end of the line, really is. |

6. Beating cardiac tissue has been created in a lab from human embryonic stem cells by researchers at the Rappaport Medical Faculty and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology's biomedical Engineering faculty. The work of Dr. Shulamit Levenberg and Prof. Lior Gepstein, has also led to the creation of tiny blood vessels within the tissue, making possible its implantation in a human heart.
7. Israel's Magal Security Systems, is a worldwide leader in computerized security systems, with products used in more than 70 countries around the world, protecting anything from national borders, to nuclear facilities, refineries, and airports. The company's latest Product, DreamBox, a state-of-the-art security system that includes Intelligent video, audio and sensor management, is now being used by a major water authority on the US east coast to safeguard the utility's sites. &nb sp; 8. It is common knowledge that dogs have better night vision than humans and a vastly superior sense of smell and hearing. Israel's Bio-Sense Technologies, recently delved further, and electronically analyzed 350 different barks. Finding that dogs of all breeds and sizes, bark the same alarm when they sense a threat, the firm has designed the dog bark-reader, a sensor that can pick up a dog's alarm bark, and alert the human operators. This is just one of a batch of innovative security systems to emerge from Israel, whi ch Forbes calls 'the go-to country for anti-terrorism technologies.' 9. Israeli company, BioControl Medical, sold its first electrical stimulator to treat urinary incontinence to a US company for $50 Million. Now, it is working on CardioFit, which uses electrical nerve stimulation to treat congestive heart failure. With nearly five million Americans presently affected by heart failure, and more than 400,000 new cases diagnosed yearly, the CardioFit is already generating a great deal of excitement as the first device with the potential to halt this deadly disease. 10. One year after Norway's Socialist Left Party launched its boycott Israel campaign, the importing of Israeli goods has increased by 15%, the strong est increase in many years, Statistics Norway reports. In contrast to the efforts of tiny Israel to make contributions to the world so as to better mankind, one has to ask what have those [and their allies] who have strived to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth have done other than to create hate and bloodshed. |

Israel did a perfect job to Iraq with vey limited civillian deaths. I expect they will do the same to Iran. I think a nuclear armed Iran is the best cause for premptive action is ever there was a cause. We now even have a Russian General stating "acceptable" uses of nuclear war over their Georgian invasion. There is no second chance AFTER a nuke bomb is dropped. Ask Japan. |

1 Misdirection. It doesn't matter really since nothing that you posted about Israel will assist in them in resolving any outstanding issues they have in the mid east. They could find a cure for cancer and still have the bloodbath relationship with its neighbors for another 50 years. |

1 If you want to call it defeat, I won't argue the point. The truth is, Israel restrained itself - to sympathise with weak minded wimps like Jimmy Carter, Hillary Clinton, and most other weak minded wimps called democrats - to the point that you could call it defeat. That is the LAST time Israel will ever restrain itself. |
