Long live the UK.

Long live the English language.

But Canada is already a part of the UK, ie The Commonwealth.

Those that don't like that aspect should move.

Give me a break. Pakistan is member of the Commonwealth too. Many African countries belong to that organization. The Commonwealth is like the 'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie'.

The monarch's title is set out by the Royal Style and Titles Act, passed by the Canadian parliament in 1953, a year following the accession of Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh, to the throne as Queen Elizabeth II, and granted Royal Assent the day before her coronation.[1] It was later amended in 1985,[2] and sets out the sovereign's title as, in English:

“ Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith.[3]”
And in French:

“ Elizabeth Deux, par la grâce de Dieu Reine du Royaume-Uni, du Canada et de ses autres royaumes et territoires, Chef du Commonwealth, Défenseur de la Foi.[3]”

Of the three members of Parliament that currently represent my taxes from greater Moncton, two belong to the Conservative party and one belongs to the Liberal party. There are other parties to join if one does not like how these parties are spending my taxes.

So legally the Queen is responsible for defending the faith?

Does she have powers over the canadian Prime Minister? I'm thinking she selects the Governor General but I not sure.

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
