Ahmed Hossam Hussein Abdelhamid was born on born 23 February 1983 in Cairo, Egypt. He is commonly known as Mido. Mido started his professional football with El Zamalek in 1999 but due to lack of playing opportunity he moved to KAA Gent in 2000. After that Mido played for couple of clubs such as Ajax, Marseille, Roma, Tottenham Hotspur, and is currently playing for the MIddlesbrough.
