Obama of course will continue to push the missle shield into Poland and out of the other side of his mouth talk about Reducing nuclear arms... It just sounds like the USA wants to control everything and expects te world to trust them with all of the power... It looks like the arms race is on as Russia cannot tolerate missles on its borders...and those nuclear talks are just posturing on the part of Obama...

Our presidaent changes his point of view depending on his latest advisor. We were promised a new start with russia, an "end to the Bush's war." what we got was a 3 trillion dollar debt to start off with, a war intenesified in afganistan, and a continued provokation of a well armed superpower across the pacific. Bush was no better but at least he said what he would do, and you couuld take it or leave it. the new guys says one thing, like "the end of the war and troops come home," then you have to decifer his real meaning, oh that war but not that war, by home you mean stay in irak but not in combat. it gets very tricky to tell what he/they really mean. i'll bet medvedev is already taking our new administration with a grain of salt. i'll say it agian, the old one was blatantly aggressive, but honest about it. these new people are like car salesmen.

The problem with that is most Russian subs end up at the bottom of the ocean. Alaska has a few of them polluting our waters with nuclear waste for the fact they were too deep for the Russians to salvage.

Ask any Russian about "Kursk". Russians and the ocean were never a good mix. Leave that to the US, UK, and Aussies. I believe it's a "Anglo - Saxon / Viking thing".

Google "USS Tresher" if you want to know about US technology at its finest.

HA, HA !!!

Maybe you think that the US have never lost submarines? You are a complete idiot!

The Thresher was build between 1958 and 1960. If you want to compare US subs vs Russian subs to see who has more laying at the bottom of the ocean than let's do it. Russian subs are notorious for spending the remainder of their days laying at the bottom of the ocean filling the seas full of nuclear waste. You couldn't pay me enough money to be a Russian submariner.

New Russian 4th generation Borei class is the best sub out there so there's no point in arguing here.

Umm ya great sub. There's a grand total of one of these tubs, and it has yet to go through any sea trails not to mention they have had a fair amount of issues with it. Russian technology always looks good on paper as far as planes and subs go, but when it comes time to prove themselves they usually are a flop.

No actually they could not. Nothing against NASA technology but h*ll would freeze over before I ever considered going to space.

If I had my wishes, I would be in a Minsk night club right now (single).
