Why ethnicity is at center is that we are more than 80 ethinic groups with different languages and cultures and ethinicity is the major problem in the country. Please look the problem with the somalis, oromos, gambella, afar etc. Wether U like it or not you have to address the problem of this groups. Could n't U learn from the Eritrean case. On Bereket, it is very simple, read any constitution, U can have citezenship of the country you are born. A good example is Obama the president of the country you are living in ,his father is Kenyan , but Obama is an American by birth. With due respect!!!

stupid you, let me give you some teachings:
a) do not dare to compare meles poor constitution to USA one> the usa constitution stands first for individuals american granted by independantly elected supreme court themselves chosen by the people of America to guarantee their power, rights of freedom, relegion and speach. While Ethiopia's constitution stand for Meles : he nominated the supreme court and choose the people who can be "opposition" those who are not opposing him actually :-) he imprisonned all opposition journalist, artist, activist of HR and leaders, he killed millions including innocent life - even the father of the first child of his wife, he is a murderer, and we ethiopian do not stand by a consitution drafted by evil ! yan tarik yawetewal you will see edeme yesetegn bel
b) no one says that people should not pride with their ethnicity but as a leader you do not fire up people to fight eachother so tigray can loot the country and write a new history! this is what meles was hardly working at but God removed him together with the Pope "he"nominated! first time in history that a so called leader choose the pape !
