Why is India surprised? They are aware that graft is the most prevalent attribute for India.
The entire Middle East is so corrupt. Lies, theft, assaults, slavery, oppression, illiteracy run thru all your lands. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Raja, probably, became raja (king) becouse of his simplecity and concern for all poors as well as rich. But this simplecity probably did not find favour from the sophisticated and cunning network workind around him. Today small ants with tasteless small grains are visible but sharks with elephants in belly are often invisible in deep waters. In all probability, Raja, could have saved more than 90 percent higher than others for Govt. exchequer (as remaining 10 % may necessarily go as wear and tear and to nit wit looking permanent professionals on an essential basis. And Raja could have possibily ended as poorer than ever. He may continue to be inflicted with numerous attacks as booty deprivations to many unknowns caused by his presence will be difficult to forget compensate for a considerable period of time. Such simplicities better to confine their simple abodes rather than losing peace for common causes. The so called Raja's cheaper deals are responsible for cheaper call rates and other charges which made telephones affordable to the common man. It benefitted the common man of the whole country and probably not innocent politicians like Raja. The prices of 2G could be possibly lower also due to global economic slowdown those days. There is too much difference between two generations and their prices can not be compared. And hence comparision of 2G and 3G prices may not be appropriate to assess the integrity of PM and his Ministers. Nothing to be deduced, it just a guess! |

India's reputation as a place to do business took another hit after the scandal-tainted government charged top public sector bankers with accepting bribes worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
The scandal is one of the biggest to taint India, potentially harming the image of Asia's third-largest economy as destination for foreign investors, especially as it comes a few days after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has had to defend his government in another graft scandal involving telecoms licenses sold at rock-bottom prices. The federal Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday arrested five officials from state-run listed lending companies, including the chief executive of LIC Housing Finance, accused of taking bribes to facilitate large corporate loans. Three senior executives from a listed private company were also arrested on charges of handing out the bribes. Indian Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said in a statement on Thursday he had asked all banks, financial institutions and insurance firms to look into their exposures to firms named by federal investigators in the case. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20101125/ts_nm/us_... |

India is as developed as any other country when you think of corruption. But India had not that much TOILETs.
Are there any Indians who wish to retort my critical views? |

If having so many toilets was a mark of development then India could be the most developed as till recently people were free to relieve themselves at place at a short distance from their residence.

I know some toilets in New delhi .
But i know that there are not enough toilets in Kalkutta, Trivandrum, Chennai and hydrabad. Building Toilet is very easy sir but wiping out corruption is not that easy in India. Should i expose the corrupt history of India? |

Judged: 1 1 1 It is often noted that those who can speak cunningly and fluently are considered most honest whereas people like Mr Narsimha Rao, who spoke very little, often become an easy target and soft victim to unload any false and misguided accusation. Even an unavoidable sip of few drops of water, a quarter cup of tea or a 50 -60 ml of soft drink offered to them is taken as very serious graft and corrupt practice in case of such innocent people. On the other hand people who are born and brought up and grow in purely corrupt environment and cultures never find a mention as if it is their exclusive right to engage into corrupt practices. |

What a shame outsourcing gave India's sweat shops the right to receive calls from all over the world. You can't understand half of what they say due to the noise level in the background from others doing the same. You have to keep asking them to repeat themselves. They are rude and not very bright. Frustrate them and they disconnect you. Intelligence has really taken a nose dive in the world. |

But what about others? Are they really corrupt or simply made so by corrupt lobbies? Here every strange looking person was treated as a Danava and now probably rhe corrupt. This is the best way to deprive all others of the opportunities to excel and lead. |

One receive big rewards for decoding messages from the other worlds, decipher scripts from extinct civilisations like Indus, Maya etc., but feel shame in understanding the language of the real inhabitants of this planet, i.e the common man. Hungamas like Globalisation essentially imply connecting every one including those from remotest and unaccessible areas. And many peple can even encash the rudeness of the so called uncivilised fellows. |
