President Bingu wa Mutharika spoke out on national radio after several women were beaten and stripped on the street for wearing non-traditional dress.
I support the people who went to the streets to protest. I thought the Kamuzu æra was over when women were allowed the privileged of choising what to wear.
As a Malawian living abroad i Think People in Malawi and politicians have more challenging isues to tend to than letting the vendors take the filing of the country ón dress code. The government ought to punish these criminals for distructing order in the country.
