Suspect charged in beating death of Leominster man - Sentinel &...

I feel badly for both men and thier families. Too much violence,,,
I have known Ryan Hehir for several years, he is not the type of person to have done this deliberatley. He is also a great Dad, son, brother, and friend.

I hope that he gets put away for a long long time. He does not have any respect for the law. He continually hurts people around him. His children will be better off without him around.

Sounds like a great guy. Previous involvement in drugs and a shooting. And now, forget the murder, he steals a Red Sox hat. What a poopy head. Oh well, time for lil' ole Ryan to lube up the backside. They like young wives in prison.

not to sure if him being in jail is the best for his kids after his son hitting his baby sister in the head with a hammer. And where was they`re mother? maybe soneone can answer that one for me. that being said why does she still have the kids?

Two men who had their whole lives ahead of them now reap the consequences of violence out of control.The newspaper should do their job and get their facts straight.Nothing has been proven that Ryan had anything to do with this mans murder.Ryan's "ex girlfriend" named in the papers is making accusations that she can not back up.Ryan was at the home of his current girlfriend at the time of this supposed fight.The Leominster police department are just putting a name on the case because they don't know how to do their job right!! Just because he has a record in his past they feel as though they make any accusations they damn well please.The Rivera family has suffered enough not to bring the real man to justice.The police department should be more concerned with finding the real man that is responsible for this mans death instead of locking up an innocent man.Only shattering the lives of another family.The police should feel so horrible for arresting a man with no proof what so ever.Giving false to the family of the victim who deserve to face the real man.

the reporters need to do a better job reporting. Saying he was involed with a shooting and drug traficking. The shooter of the leominster man had been identified and it wasnt ryan also the case regarding the drug trafficking has been open for more than 6 months . What ever happened to the right for speedy trial?? The DA has refused to give him a trail because the man who was in possesion of the drugs is owning up to it. Plus the papers mentioned him beating a wowem with an iron. That was a false police report filed by the said "girlfreind" the neice of the detective investigating the murder in this case.

First, Alisha needs her ass beat..no matter what you don't snitch. Second, the Hehir family needs to accept the fact that Ryan made a very bad decision that night and shouldn't lie for him...he was at the bar and everyone that knows him heard all about it. I would hate to see him locked up because he really is a great guy, but his actions resulted in someones death...justice must be served. Lastly, is it really that bad to see another known drug dealer off the streets??? I think not.

"Ryan made a bad decision"; no Ryan killed a guy while at a bar where he was not supposed to be in the first place as a condition of his release on bail. "Ryan is a great guy"; no he is not. Ryan is nothing more than a sociopathic career criminal whose crimes get worse every time he gets out of jail. Ryan needs to be in prison as long as possible for the good of us all. Better yet, let's take him out back and put him down like we would any other rabid animal.

The police, who you say are not doing a good job, found the hat of the dead man in posession of the accused. Did he buy it at some yard sale? Did they pick him, out of the hundreds of millions of human beings, and he just happened to have the hat? Did Mark Furman place it there?

It's always the police not doing their job- never just the plain fact that a kid just might be a scumbag. Good job LPD
