Yolanda, you are an awesome role model for many young ladies in our community and across the nation. It is too bad that you and other role models like you aren't sought after by many adults (like the ignorant ones who post a lot of stupid comments in this forum) do not take the time to learn about and will never understand that you have paved the way for women to have another outlet to showcase their talents. You have helped to inspire young women to seek out and challenge themselves to receive a higher education. Thank you for your devotion to our community, the courage to do something that was "crazy" (taking part in an experimental league) and for showing people that women are awesome! You ROCK!
