Good Job Girls , especially Lacy - since no High School coach has opened their silly mouths. Yes she did it without you guys. Remember how you guys would bad mouth her , that she would never make it , that she had a bad attitude, She only had that because you were to proud to say she would be a star. Your egos would try everything to pervent her from becoming a star. She did it inspite of you guys! Way to go Lacy! How many other girls have you all stop from playing?

Natasha Lacy & Izabella Piekarska are some fine ladies. Before you two head out to Chicago, I'd like to invite them to dinner and join me over a bottle of Courvoisier. Ladies you deserve the best. Congratulations!

Cool!

Now at least they won't have to worry immediately about getting work after graduation and having to rely on that crappy UTEP diploma!

Actually, Marlon Maxey was drafted by the Timberwolves in 1992 so, the story is incorrect.

Great stat!!!! You should have the Wbball beat....

Just called the sports editor of the El Paso Times, John Erfort, asked him if they are going to run a correction, he said doubt it..... Technically Natasha Lacy isn't the first El Pasoan chosen in the WNBA Draft.....if you're born here, like Taj MCwillams Franklin, and then move away technically you're still an El Pasoan....they should and have to run a correction. Facts are facts, may they be large or small.....and once again the El Paso Times was incorrect.

EL Paso Times--"Lacy is the first El Pasoan chosen in the WNBA Draft "----wrong
