If there are boos it could be because it is halloween Saturday or it could just be business.

I know a lot of people got tired of Mr. Glass Groin's schtick, but when he's on, he's one of the best.

I like Havlet, but it's too bad the Wild didn't go out and fill Gaborik's skates. They sure could use his goals right about now.

While people may boo Gabby, I think most of the blame needs to go to Doug Risebrough and the way he handled things.

That's pretty funny that he won't play in his first trip back to MN, that's exactly what happened when Kevin Garnett came with the Celtics after he got traded.

I am sure he didn't want to be injured - it just happened. MN will benefit from dumping Risebrough. Time will tell on Gabby - may take a season or two...

If its true that the Wild did not even offer him a contract after Dougie was fired, then its looking pretty bad for the new regime, at least so far in this young season. This current team is the most boring Wild teams since season one. We are playing for a early draft pick, lets just hope they can draft way better then they have in the past (Pouilet, Sheppard, Thelan, Bouchard, Gilles)....It going to be a long season, and seeing Gabby rock in NYC puts more salt in the Wilds wounds. Pretty bleak right now....

This is exactly why the Wild could not pay the enormous contract demands of Gaborik. When healthy he is great, but you cannot put up that kind of money for a part time player, even one of his caliber. He did bring excitement to Minnesota with his high octane scoring ability. He probably will enjoy himself more playing in NY.
