Boston Bruins Goaltender Tim Thomas Snubs Obama White House

as americans, we have freedom of choice ....thomas made a choice.... no worse than o' snubbing troops at walter reed hosp..... or golfing instead of working.... plus o has said before repubs are the enemy to hispanics,{on tape by the way) maybe he is a repub, and didnt appreciate that... i know as an american independent, i was offended.... how many games did o go and see thomas play in?.... it took alot of balls to decline, but it shouldnt be that way......

President Obama has constantly visited Walter Reed and has shown nothing but respect to our Troops. He has honored the dead by greeting them reverently as their bodies have returned home. He is working tirelessly with our military officials. The Seals are responding to his leadership. He even visited the Pentagon which was unheard of by past presidents. No one ever stated anything when previous presidents have gone golfing. The racism in america needs to stop. The hate speech in america needs to stop. tim thomas needs to grow up and learn to show respect to the office of the president. Future games should be boycotted. Who needs to see someone play that does not show any respect to their Commander in Chief? I refuse to show any respect with him with even a capital letter. If he has children, he is a bad example to them and shows no leadership. His absence was inexcusable.

jewel...there were times when o was golfing, but didnt have time to go to walter reed btw...... i dont think thomas's job is to do anything but stop pucks.... he was invited, and stated gentlemanly why he wouldnt be attending...... no diff when o wont meet with congress, except thats his job to do so.....anyone who doesnt "play ball" with the admin is demonized... not like 5 or so yrs ago...btw, is accusing bush of doing 9-11 disrespectful? remember how many said that...
