This will turn out to be a win-win-win situation. Sarah has been put through hell (by the MSM) in a very short period of time. She is playing the game by HER rules, not the MSM, not the good 'ole boys political network. Torrance resident - which one of her kids responded "HELL YEAH!" A politician doesn't make a media move (like resigning) on a Friday afternoon at the end of the workday that's also a Federal holiday if they're not trying to bury the story. Regardless of one's opinion of Palin, I'd presume another shoe will be dropping (one she can't control) shortly.

She must want to spend more time on her KKKlan activities with her husband.

There is a God! BYE now if she will just shut up and go away.

Not everyone has the grace and courage to sacrifice their career in order to get Michael Jackson out of the news. We should all be grateful.

Perhaps Todd strayed. Perhaps oldest daughter is pregnant AGAIN, while still unmarried.

This can't be good for her dwindling following of neocons. I thought folks on the far right stick around to get the job done, whatever it is. Oh wait, Newt resigned, but so did other Republican Speakers of the House.

Sarah as a 'private citizen' will be able to get on the speakers' circuit, raise tons of money and chat about all things, whether she has a clue or not.

Of course staying at home to raise the youngest daughter and special needs son may be something a person who claims she believes in Family Values may just start doing.
