Finally, someone tells of the medeval process of sending a bottle of wine from California or France and the many greedy palms it passes through. I was in France and was told I couldn't ship a case of wine home........one of only a very few states where this is still the practice. Protect the good old boys....that's what counts.
That is the truth. It's not about the churches anymore. It's about greed and the money. The legislature is so wimpy against the booze lobby that they are more interested in protecting their donations than what the people want.
