Slovak wine tourism is still in its infancy

Slovakia makes some very good wines. You get what you pay for. If you want the worst wine chose the cheapest. I can see that you only drink "plunk" no matter what country it comes from.

By the way Debil, "SLO" is for Slovenia - not Slovakia.

Slovak Rose wine by Mrva&Stanko won the first price at Paris, last year.
Slovak Veltliner wines are among the better wines in this region.

It's a pity that we don't have any Slovak wine imports here in Sweden. I suppose that I could become an independent "leverantör" but it's too much responsibility.

Hahaha. Even "Virginia Dare" is better than SLOvaks best. You may try and fool others, rodent, but I was a commercial vintner for a number of years. They may be the best in SLOvakia, but no comparison on the world market. Even Moldova has better. Hungary also, but not as good a quality as from Moldova.

And what tasting in Paris was this award given. I am looking at my awards as I post. Second and third place awards. Even written up in "Wine Spectator" magazine once.

To bring wines to Sweden, it might be too difficult.
As you know, how many restrictions are in Sweden.

For me to try? I have been to Slovakia many, many times and I have tried several of their wines.

I will soon retire so perhaps I'll think about importing Slovak wines to Sweden for the joy of it.

As I said, it´s not easy to import wines to Sweden.
First, get in touch with relevant agencies in Sweden, inquire you will see.

if I may, any wine from Slovakia, just buy quality wines with special attributes.
The grapes for these wines must come from a single wine sub-region, their must-weight levels must be verified by State Agricultural & Food Inspectorate.
Here are some I would suggest to try :
Late harvest.
These are of high quality & extract, full & round, dry or semi-dry.
Ice wine.
These wines tend to be opulent, rich, very sweet & rare.
Straw wine.
These are my favorites.
Grapes are dried over a period of at least 3 months after harvest on straw or reed beds, or suspended in well aerated open spaces.
Mind you, these are very expensive wines, but worth to drink.
I do not believe any of these wines can be bought under 50 €.

Champion in Vinalies Internationales, in Paris - Cabernet sauvignon rose, year 2009, Víno Mrva & Stanko sells for 10 €, but it´s hard to get anymore.
