Four of us saw the play the other night. Three liked it, I thought it was only okay. As the review says, the play is bantamweight. The plot is way too contrived and the actions of Sally Wingert's character not very believable.
The staging was well done though, and the acting good, so not a total loss.

I was really looking forward to this production as I am a big fan of Sally Wingert. Surprisingly, the whole production felt really flat and even Wingert's performance seemed forced. Not a Guthrie-level production...a real disappointment.

I loved Third. I have talked to many people who have gone to the U of M and have had professors like Laurie Jameson. I took a freind who didn't thnk they would enjoy the play they also loved it.
I thought everyone did a great job and it was fun to listen after the play to the actors take questions from the audience...I don't go to may plays but I am glad I spent the moeny for this one it was great and it is so sad that Wendy Wasserstein died soo young.....what a great playwright.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
