1 Firstly, Hannibal was not a Phoenician! Read your history books. He was a Carthaginian. He was betrayed on more than one occasion by the Phoenician peoples. There was more than 1000 years of separation, and if we were to believe our sources (which I don't but you seem to do) Carthage was founded by Phoenician men and Cypriot women. Also, do you not concede that in the 1000 years of Carthage reign as a key merchant city, that it's inhabitants couldn't have mixed with other merchants (like Greeks) or north africans? I find your comments about peasants quite incensitive. Also, just in case you didn't realise, there has been 2200 years of intermingling in Lebanon, since Hannibal was around. 3100 since you and him had a common ancestor, around 120 generations. Yes he probably wouldn't have resembled a nubian, but neither would he have had Persian, Turkish and Arabian genes that the modern day Lebanese have to various extents. |

Well, learning history would require too much effort and intelligence, see. Many prefer to proceed from false notions that the other civilizations defined themselves along lines of colour, a recent Northern European invention. As you know, the whole world had no hsitory until the emergence of Northern European civilization less than fifteen hundred years ago. As such all history must be dependent upon Northern Europeans to be primitively re-written, redefined and re-interpreted along lines of colour.
