Tyra Banks Fat? so What? Former Supermodel Hurt Over Comments o...

It is so funny how every country has its own view of sexy. I am from the island of Jamaica and there if you are skinny you are considered unhealthy and unattractive. Everyday I try to gain weight, I'm trying to gain 10lbs for years with no success. Women should have curves that is what distinguish us from men.

Anyone making fun of Tyra with her weight gain should really take a good look at themselves. She is still a beautiful person and if she has gained weight it does not look bad on her. Maybe people that run the model shows should take a good hard look and realize the putting a design on a skinny model is not going to sell their product. They need to realize the normal people are the ones that do the shopping........

I agree... most women are not the typical stick-thin supermodel type. I hate how every ad in the U.S. displays a thin supermodel to show what "sexy and beautiful" is. I believe that the definition of being "sexy and beautiful" is being healthy and comfortable in your own skin.

All off you are so right; women should be healthy and have curves, and Tyra isn;t even close to being fat. She is beautiful!

I don't think women have to have curves to look beautiful, I think that all sizes look beautiful if they are natural. But Tyra looks great as she is, and although she's not stick-thin, she's perfect.
I'm 5 foot 4 and 132 pounds and I've been trying to loose weight for a long, long time. But I've realised, I won't be any happier in a size 8, I'll just be hungry the whole time and I won't be myself! And, OK so I might be able to look better in clothes but its not like anyone will like me better if I'm thin.

Tyra is a beautiful woman and she is a great role model to all of the women who are struggling with their weight. I cant belive that people are calling tyra fat. She has the perfect ammount of curves for the way a woman should look. I think that she is such an inspiration to all women by saying SO WHAT! There is nothing wrong with her. She even inspired me. Before hearing tyra speak out about her weight, I felt so bad about myself because of my weight. Now I take the advice of tyra by saying SO WHAT!

I think that Tyra looks way better thick than skinny. Tyra is not fat, she's finally healthy. In most places of the world today,especially NY, thin is not in. Guys usually only talk to girls who have a nice big booty,curvy and thick, or big breasts. Only thing that might be considered is a flat stomach but Tyra don't have a big stomach. She would be considered a perfect 10 in NY. I'm a size 15 with a pretty face and a nice complexion and just about eveybody tries to talk to me. See what people don't understand is that it's not about loosing or gaining weight, it's about if your in shape because I done saw aome sloppy looking skinny people.
