I like Monk and my son likes Monk I cannot believe that Newsday would publish such an unreadable article.

Monk would not commit murder. Simply using the contents of previous plots lead to that conclusion.
1. The episode in which Monk visited the man who helped with Trudy's death: he turned off the life support and said "this is me", then he turned it back on and said "this is Trudy." 2. Not once has Monk been portrayed as violent. Frustrated yes, irrational yes, violent no. On the same topic, but about a different character, I wish they'd get rid of Monk's assistant (she took over the role in Season 3). I stopped enjoying the show after she was added to the cast, because they completely changed the character when she took on the role. I realize Monk is a "West Coast" type of show and this actress is classic L.A.(i.e., look at ME!, it's all about ME!). But her character is often needlessly cruel, disrespectful, and uncompassionate towards Monk, and lacks the maturity that Monk's assistant role had before. She does not add to the show, she detracts from it. As Monk's former assistant, the character Sheronna did a better job for the series. She was completely human, sympathetic, and believable. And, she maintained her respect for Monk. Please bring back the Sheronna character. |

I agree about Monk's assistant. I want Sharona back. Natalie has no impact. She whines. That's all she know's how to do.

I agree. Bring back my Sharona. Natalie does nothing but whine and whine and whine. Always whining about her daughter too who gets hardly any air/face time. Only Carlton the Doorman could get away with that.

Monk is gr8....but is the day so slow that a paper has to ruin an episode instead of reporting on important topics?
|

Didn't they say that Trudy died of being sick due to being sued and losing all their money by the Whale? He even said the story about 'Bread and Butter'.

Why was the part with Monk (in uniform) talking to the guy with a son in the military at the shop where he supposedly killed someone taken out of subsequent airings of the part one show?
