Scotty McCreery wasn't the only winner Wednesday. A reinvigorated American Idol ended its 10th season with a bang, drawing 29.3 million viewers for its two-hour-plus finale, which saw McCreery triumph over fellow country teen Lauren Alaina .

Well - the ratings show that 1/3 of the televisions in use were tuned into at least part of the show.... My wife loves the show. People like "scout" above were problably watching the basketball game.... it couldn't get a 3% share......
