Belfast 3-piece, Bêtes Noires, play their first London gig of 2006 on Friday 10th February. This follows on from the band’s regular visits to the city in 2005, a show-stopping performance at the ‘In the City’ Festival in Manchester last October and sold-out support slots with Editors in Ireland.

Over the course of 2005 Bêtes Noires clocked up over 15 gigs in London, including a riotous New Year’s Eve bash at The Windmill, Brixton, and support to Tim Wheeler (Ash) earlier in the year, at the same venue. Other 2005 highlights included appearances at TMF Rock Festival, Essex, the Artful extravaganza in New Cross and BelFEST. At home, the band has supported, among others, The Wonder Stuff, Art Brut and Kerbdog.

Bêtes Noires has also received significant radio airplay from the likes of indie maestro Steve Lamacq, Clare Sturgess on XFM and Across the Line on BBC Radio Ulster, and have just supported million selling US act The All-American Rejects on their Dublin date.
