Saw Iggy and The Stooges at the Aragons 12 hours of music in 1969.
Iggy was in rare form during "I wanna be your dog". He was right behind another band member doin his thing. Everybody booed. Seger was there also with The Bob Seger System singin "Highway Child", MC5 and The Litter ( J. Worthington Kane) also there and then the wine kicked in and maybe something else. That was 40 years ago and I miss it. |

I am a fan from way back when. I first saw the Stooges at Silverbell in Lake Orion Michigan and again at the Factory Ballroom in Waterford Michigan. They were fun, raw, scary, cool and so unique. I had the pleasure of seeing them when they last played Pine Knob in Clarkston Michigan, where they made me feel 16 again. I could have stayed all night. My condolences to Ron's family and band members. Ron was a gentle giant who can never be replaced.
