I agree the artists should be paid, and I agree that if it doesn't kill music radio altogether, we'll hear a lot less new music on the box. Unless -- unless -- it's not regarded as a flat fee. Unproven artists should get less of a percentage and popular songs pay more. This still wouldn't save radio, but it's more capitalistic, from supply-demand POV.

I think that most artist are over paid and under talented and shouldn't even be on the freaking radio.
