Agreed.<quoted text>
Of the many times we've been to the park,(at least 7 times) EVERYONE that works there has been friendly, helpful and curteous.
They even gave me a discount at Amp'd Coffee. Don't know why.

It was a great show, the staff was nice, at 5'5" the view was just like every other outdoor show. Shorter people need to where high heels and quit your B'n. The fireworks blew my mind and was a wonderful surprise(the way they did it) at the end of the evening. Oh wait, I didn't go home after the show. Great Job HRP; keep it up!

I agree, pathetic is kind! I bought tix online 1st day...why wasn't I given the option or notified of upgrading to VIP seating anyway? Who were THEY? I had had to listen to some idiot whiners tell us not to stand on sidewalk for $600 and if I could find some grass to stand on I had my view blocked by some palm tree??...puhleeeaase!!!HOB has no such hassles. Half of British invasion is incomplete and Alice's Resturant is closed behind an arcade. Maybe B&C should be running this place. |

We attended the Eagles concert and stayed for the fireworks - what a spectacular sight! We were thrilled with the show and the fireworks are awesome! Good job HRP - welcome to the Myrtle Beach area. Also, to the goofball griping about the redneck riviera, shoo - go on home to your home in West Virginia and leave our gorgeous beach to those of us who appreciate it.

Not Surprised....you sound like and most probably are a real jerk.

If B&C were running the place not only would some things be incomplete, they would'nt even exist, certainly Not The B&M Coaster(Led Zeppelin). The Park is New and eventhough they had thier soft opening in April,it's really gonna be a true soft opening for the intire first season as they are learning from mistakes and such- But the Park is great and I see alot of potental as it grows. It takes time for perfection |
And really, you can only do so much during their "sound check" soft opening. Like you said, it'll take about a year before things are really figured out completely. |

Why are so many people wanting this park to fail? We have been there at least three times already (yes, we bought annual passes for a family of four), and we went Monday and Tuesday. Both concerts were great, I have at farther away from the stage in Madison Square Garden.
There is no place else in the world that has a park like the Hard Rock. Look at all the people that were given jobs, the tax revenue that the city and county are receiving. I think it is great and will only get better, I just do not understand the mentality of people that want a business like HRP to fail. You all should be proud that HRP choose MB to build here, they could have gone anywhere. Really,$50 is not that expensive. Go to Dixie Stampede or Medievil Times, it will cost you $35/49 and it is a two hour show and you have to eat with your hands (gross). The HRP you can stay all day long. I say give me a break and stop all the complaining. I do not have any cheese to go with your whine! |

sorry for the typos, working on about 7 hours sleep in the past two days!
Soft opening is one thing, and hasn't that been going on since April? But charging near $600 for 2 lousy seating areas is another. At least the British area restrooms were authentic...looked like they had been trashed by rockers in the early 70's. |
Not Surprised-
Actually my car is a new Mercedes and I have a very good job. Trust us, we won't miss you. Have you ever heard the expression, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do"? This means you learn to adapt to the local customs, traditions and ways of life. If you cannot successfully do that, you are more than welcome to excuse yourself. |
Now Rosati Girls....don't pick on WV for heaven sake, that's where I'm from originally. He can't possibly be from there. More than likely a yankee. Sounds like he's someone who's just pathetic and unhappy and wouldn't be satisfied no matter where he lives.

It is unfortunate that it looks like the locals want the park to fail. I don't think the "complainers" are representative of what the majority of the locals feel. I for one like the park and want it to be successful.
I don't think the locals WANT it to fail - but as a local I'm disappointed and CONCERNED about how empty the park seems, it just feels like it's going to fail - I'd love to see a line of cars trying to get into the parking lot everyday - but so far it hasn't happened.

Diana, I Love HRP also and like someone stated they could have picked anywhere to build but they chose Myrtle Beach, Lucky for us!! I want this Park to Succeed,I think it will it just takes a while to catch on. I see it has potental (: |
Both concerts were very professional; and well presented. The HRP folks did an excellent job with all aspects of both concerts. I can't wait to see another big time group at HRP!!
You are so right - accept my apologies. Not a thing wrong with WV, in fact, but I do get tired of hearing "know nothings" like that guy put down our beach - again if they hate, the roads can lead them right on out of here. |
Go Sue!!
You're a star now too!! |
looks like you had a want to come to myrtle beach |

Hi, did anyone go to the NEC Moody Blues concert this Saturday? We really enjoyed it, I thought they played a better selection of songs than two years ago.
