The crowds at blues shows rarely get up to dance. With a dynamic "this ain't your grandfather's blues" sound, Trombone Shorty, born Tony Andrews, and Orleans Avenue vaporized that perception in front of a sold-out crowd at the 17th annual Santa Cruz Blues Festival on Sunday.

Another example of poor journalism at the Senile.
There were several hours of performances OTHER THAN Shorty.
He WAS hot, but so were the other performances.
Why not have the title of the article be Trombone Shorty at the Blues Festival?
C'mon...that was lame reporting.

I agree, shorty was great but what about Joe Cocker?
unbelieveable show, He just keeps rockin. I hope he comes back to Santa Cruz soon.
