At first I was shocked that the Dixie Chicks said what they said, but then I realized they were saying the exact things that my co-workers, people at my church, TV hosts (David Letterman), radio hosts (Rush), and everyone else in the world. They just had the gumption to say it outloud where the world could hear them. I'd like to know how many of you would agree with them if it was your son or daughter going to fight in a war for oil. Or if you yourself were suddenly drafted because of it: I think you might be a little angry too. It's been fun having the Chicks around: they keep things interesting to say the least.
