there is no way the dixie chicks are fighting and arguing, and there is no way the dixie chicks are splitting up! They are best mates and as a band they aupport each other, of martie and emily didnt agree with natalie they would have given up defending her long ago. The dixie chicks are the greatest musicians in the world.

If they split for having an opinion then they have just given up. It truly hope this is not true and that all they have been through is for nothing. And if Martie and Emily leave for that reason they are pathetic. You guys are true musician and have stood up for what you believe in, if all did that, maybe we wouldn't be where we are today.

This could be another sad attempt of the chicks management to keep their name's in the front.
It seems they have been thriving on the attention that has nothing to do with their music, but rather on trying to be rebellious. All they have accomplished is showing their ignorance and true demeanors of disliking the very people who made them known in the first place.

It is extremely sad that this extremely talented musical group has been given such a hard time because they spoke from the heart. I think everyone should think long and hard about their supposed "patriotism" when dissing the Chicks. Also, why is it that when other far more famous celebrities speak out against the President there are no repercussions, yet when this country singing trio speak out, they have threats against their life, and disgruntled people trying to ruin their career. If thats not UNAMERICAN, I don't know what is!
