As far as I am concerned if they never realeased another album, the country would be blessed. What the loudmouth Natalie said was way out of line and America agreed, when they condemed her for it. Stay retired and keep your music in Texas as far as I am concerned.

I totally agree with you on this, as far as I am concerned they can keep there music in a box or take it to another country. Natalie's big mouth didn't help them any. One thing for sure, I want listen to any of there garbage.

I am so glad that they have the support of Tennesseans everywhere! I am a fan and will always be a fan. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and Natalie has been blamed enough. If a man had said it it would have been dropped by now but because a "girl" said it, the heat stays on her.

I just want these morons to stay in California with Michael Moore.

I'm not buying it, I'm not allowing my kids to buy it, and I'll contact any radio station that plays it.

You have a Constitutional right to say all you want about GWB. Just as I have the right to say Obama is an absolute disgrace and is the worst president this country has ever seen.

As for the Dixie Chicks, a few years have changed nothing. I will not buy their music and I'll turn off any station that plays it which means I'll not hear the advertisers that advertise there.

I think that day is over when artists has to depend on Nashville to succeed. Dollie Parton was one of the first to become international known. once she decided that the opportunities were betterfor her in California. A very intelligent smart woman. I don't think these women will be discouraged by the Tennesseans. Of course you are speaking for yourself and not everyone has your opinion.

You're right. These artist don't have to depend on just what "Tennesseans" think of them. Unfortunate for them, it's not just Tennesseans that think so little of them. I traveled to England right after Natalie said what she said and they brought her up in conversation. Most of who I talked to just thought she was an idiot. An opinion with which I agreed with wholeheartedly.

She has the right to say what she wants just as you and I do. However, she also learned a hard lesson - there are consequences for your actions or things you say.

You are right on the money with this, and another way to show how Tennesseans support them, don't buy there music and as said earlier turn the station if there music comes on. Hit them where it hurts there purse.

I never like the Dixie Chicks even before their comment on Bush. The only thing they did useful was to prove un talented people can make it with the right promotion.

Stephanie, it appears as though you're in the minority as a Dixie Chick fan so there's no need to camp out in front of the record store when their new CD comes out. The bin will probably be full.

Actually, it probably will sell. It won't be played on radio, and the Dixie Chicks can no longer sell many concert tix. I love how they cancelled/scaled back their prior tour "due to scheduling" issues. It was because nobody was buying tix.

I hope the sales tank, though.

Maybe with Natalie not on it, the other two will have some success. I don't remember if the other two said anything or not but I won't buy it because I never did like their music and for the principle of it.

I agree with most of the other posters. This group was never nothing to brag about. Yes they have the right to say anything they want, but most Americians showed how they felted by her stupid remarks, which wasn't the only ones she made.

And why talking about this near nothing group I hated that song "Earl had to die". It was a awful song promoting killing a man for being abusive instead of getting a divorce. I liked nothing about this group.

Hope they stay wherever they have been. NOT all people from TN. like them or wants them around. They should fit right in living in Calif.
