About time someone slam- dunked and fried those Dixie Chicks! I was hoping they were dead and gone to the chicken factory, but here they are still hanging in! They have run their mouths about everything even though they are as dumb as a door stump. Hope this guy cools their chicken heels. They can't seem to realize they are just stupid entertainers and not Einstein and that the public no longer cares what they say or do!

OK let me begin my saying I am not a Dixie Chicks fan but the statements she(they) made are correct. I watched 2 HBO documentaries called :
Paradise Lost and Paradise Lost 2:revalations.
These boys were railroaded by the local law community simply because they were poor, liked heavy metal music and wore black clothes. There is not doubt in my mind that the step father is guilty. His erractic behavior throughout and lies he told to the police seriously bring into question who is really to blame.
These boys have been imprisoned since 1993. If this travesty happened anywhere but backwards Memphis TN the community would be outraged.
PS Pearl Jam has an annual concert to benefit the 3 men.

Also read 'Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three', by Mara Leveritt. Totally factual book written by an investigative reporter for the Arkansas Times. She has every right to believe in the innocense of the teens who were convicted. But she has no legal right to defame another person without evidence.
I don't remember seeing Natalie Maines name on any ballot for public office, nor do I recall her being appointed District Attorney or State's Attorney to prosecute criminals....
Who the fruk is she? The Constitution does not empower pop singers or other entertainers to defame members of the citizenry.
What she said about not being proud that Bush43 was from Texas made her seem small and insignificant. Frankly, if I were from Texas I wouldn't be proud that either she or he was from Texas.
