the beatles " now and then"

Rumor: New Beatles track coming in '08

An unnamed reliable source tells us that there is a new Beatles song on the horizon!

It is called "Now and Then", and reportedly has been finished and waiting to be released since at least May of 2007, or even possibly earlier than that. Some are guessing that this could be a "bonus" track for the new Beatles digital downloads that are supposed to be happening sometime in 2008.

Sometimes we learn more from what people are not saying than what they are saying. Sources closer to the Beatles refuse to talk about a track called Now and Then, and recently Ringo has refused to comment on the question of Beatles bonus material. In addition, there were remarks recently on a French website, regarding the release of new material to allow extension of copyrights in Europe. So, something definitely seems to be up.

The song is indeed finished and ready for release, this will happen this year for sure !

The song "Now and Then" is indeed finished and features McCartney, Starr as well as Harrison and Lennon.
It will be released this year (2008) for sure.

thanks nick. i'm very excited about this song. i heard the demo and the fan mixed version on you tube, it sounds so good.

there was a rumor reported through a british news paper that, larry king was not allowed to ask about now and then. and paul's producer david kahn was only allowed to hear the demo, not the one paul and ringo were working on. the rumors are that not jeff lynne or kahn, were allowed to work on it. i don't beleive george martin worked on it either. i hate to say it, but i doubt giles martin either. the british news paper said dave stewart was involved in it, but as i said it's only a rumor.

I don't know who will be on the production, I only want to see how they're made it.

No way, Beatles are John Paul George and Ringo, without 2 of them no band.

its true, they are the fab 4. but with johns vocal, george's guitar, paul and ringo could make it sound nice. i hope they release now and then, it deserves to be heard.

while my guitar gently weeps, i, me, mine. and most of the whole white album was done as 2 or 3 beatles.

How do you know its finished

i personally think all of the beatle's sons should start a band, that would be freakin awesome, i would buy the cd, probably before even hearing it

I bought "Love" just like I buy everything which has the name "Beatles" on it, but I think an Anthology 4 with unreleased material, including "Now and Then" will be greater. Oh, this Abbey Road outtake comes from the same cassette, it must be a Beatles' unfinished song. That's what my research so far found out.
