Wow, thanks, AWC, this is a great reference list and I appreciate you compiling it. I'd like to tell you, though,t hat there are at least two albums from Paul that you missed here; those being the Fireman albums. They are: Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest (1993) Rushes (1998) Electric Arguments (2008) While I'm at this, I'm also adding a John album you forgot: Imagine (Soundtrack) I want to also add some comps from the Beatles (just the ones that I think matter; they aren't going to have dates on them): Hey Jude 1962-66 1967-70 Past Masters 1 & 2 (supposedly being remastered and re-released in 2009!) One Love And since I'm throwing more current stuff in, let's add a Ringo Album: Liverpool 8 (2008) awc wrote: please please me 3-22-63 with the beatles 11-22-63 a hard day's night 7-10-64 beatles for sale 12-4-64 help 8-6-65 rubber soul 12-3-65 revolver 8-5-66 sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band 6-1-67 magical mystery tour 11-27-67 the beatles 11-22-68 abbey road 9-26-69 sentimental journey 3-27-70 mccartney 4-17-70 let it be 5-8-70 beaucoups of blues 9-25-70 all things must pass 11-27-70 plastic ono band 12-11-70 ram 5-17-71 imagine 10-8-71 wild life 12-7-71 sometime in new york city 6-12-72 red rose speedway 4-30-73 living in the material world 5-30-73 ringo 11-2-73 mind games 11-2-73 band on the run 12-5-73 walls and bridges 9-26-74 goodnight vienna 11-14-74 dark horse 12-9-74 rock and roll 2-17-75 venus and mars 5-27-75 extra texture 9-22-75 wings at the speed of sound 3-25-76 ringo's rotogravure 9-17-76 thirty three and 1/3 11-19-76 ringo the 4th 9-26-77 london town 3-31-78 bad boy 4-21-78 george harrison 2-14-79 back to the egg 5-24-79 mccartney II 5-16-80 double fantasy 11-17-80 somewhere in england 6-1-81 stop and smell the roses 10-27-81 tug of war 4-26-82 gone troppo 10-27-82 old wave 6-16-83 pipes of peace 10-31-83 milk and honey 1-19-84 give my regards to broad street 10-22-84 press to play 8-22-86 cloud nine 11-2-87 travelling wilbury's volume one 10-18-88 choba bcccp 10-31-88 flowers in the dirt 6-5-89 travelling wilbury's volume three 10-29-90 time takes time 5-22-92 off the ground 2-2-93 flaming pie 5-5-97 vertical man 6-16-98 run devil run 10-4-99 i wanna be santa claus 10-19-99 driving rain 11-12-01 brainwashed 11-18-02 ringo rama 3-25-03 choose love 6-7-05 chaos and creation in the back yard 9-12-05 memory almost full 6-4-07

And Paul Electric Arguments and Ringo's Liverpool 8 are really good. Ringo is halfway done with his new cd, which most likely will be released in 2010. There are so many compillations to list, and sadly Yoko releases a new John best of every year, but Working class hero is my favorite of them all.

New Ringo? Right on! I really liked Liverpool 8.
Ya, that's why I didn't list all the solo comps or live albums or anything; way too many! LOL I added the Imagine soundtrack bc its where I first heard Real Love. I might argue for Wings Greatest Hits or All The Best! being included tho, as they're the only place a lot of Wings' singles are collected.
Question for you: have you heard any rumors regarding a George box set?

Question for you: have you heard any rumors regarding a George box set? Ringo announced on his site that he was in the middle of a new cd, I'm sure it's with Dave Stewart, but no official word on it. As far as comps, I love Wingspan, but it's funny that it covers 1970-1984 and Wings were from 1971-1979, but it's full of great tracks. As far as the George box, George announced it in 2000 to Tim White (r.i.p.) of Bilboard magazine that he was compilling a giant box.Olivia has mentioned it too, a few years back, but not sure she meant the same type of box. George was referring to a boxset of out-takes , but Olivia meant an anthology of his music. Then there's the soundtrack to the Scorsese documentary that's in production with George doing the narration through interviews collected, like that of the Imagine: John Lennon 1988 movie that you spoke of, I beleive it's scheduled for release this fall or next spring. George mentioned to Tim White that he had 35 songs ready to put on Brainwashed, it would be nice if Olivia brought in some musicians to finish the remaining ones off, it could be George's Milk and Honey,so to speak.

Hi, Emily! Not much, other than that it's not impossible that 'Now And Then' could show up in some form on one of these collections. Or maybe (and this is just my wishful thinking and is in no way something that's happening to my knowledge) Paul, Ringo, and the widows will agree to release 'Now And Then' and 'Carnival Of Light' as a single.
AWC: Wow, you've heard more than I, then! I'd heard vague rumors of a George box last year, when the deluxe Wilburys package came out. And ya, some more music like Brainwashed would be welcome; I think that was one of George's best albums.
I'll tell you something else I'd like to see: a collection of the Beatles' videos. The live feed for 'All You Need Is Love','Strawberry Fields Forever','Penny Lane', and I'm sure there are others, maybe some other TV performance clips, stuff like that. I've still never seen the clip they did for 'Penny Lane'.

I wonder if Apple considers it feasable to, revive the "sessions" album which had I believe about 15 unreleased Beatles songs. Not Guilty, Come and Get it, Leave my kitten alone. Most of them were used on the Beatles Anthology. What about remixing all those songs, and adding five or six more such as, Carnival of light, Now and then, Sour Milk Sea, a non spoken word version of Christmas time is here again. Free As A Bird, Real Love.
Perhaps 20-25 songs. There would be several songs no one has ever heard before, and all the remaining non album tracks, which cannot be found on Past Masters, would then be available in one place. This with good promotion, several new songs, that could possibly sell several million. They could issue an anthology type single for five dollars of three or four of the tracks.I think something like that could work. But would they ever consider doing it.

"Hey, Bonehead Bucky Boy, you posted the same thing (three) times. No more watermelon for you, fisheyed fool." See how much easier that is to read with commas, periods and capitol letters? No one ever knows what you're trying to say because you never end a sentence with a period. If you're so much smarter than me then how come you don't know even the most basic rules of punctuation?
