Would've been there but had to attend a wedding instead. Sounds like it was a hoot.

I reluctantly went to the show as a guest of a friend. I am SO GLAD I went! We sat in the balcony and could see everything happening on stage and off-stage. Everyone on and off stage were JAMMING their hearts out. The bands were in great sound and form.

The crowd was mostly old schoolers (over 50) who remembered their youth and their old school moves. I'm sure everyone slept soundly last night and had some aches in the knees (like me) this morning. A big thank-you to the promoters for bringing a good show to town.

It was a great night of funk. Everyone may hear things differently, but I thought Con Funk Shun's Love Train was the high point of the show.

Would have gone to the show if I had known about it. Who promoted the show and why was it not promoted on local news?

I went to the show last night because my cousin was one of the performers. Not a fan of "funk music" but I wanted to support my family.....Man, they started playing some of those songs and it really took me back. I am so glad I went and I am very proud of my cousin. I plan to attend their show in Toledo and take my mom because she knows alot of the music. OMG, Sugarfoot was bringing the funk...actually I didn't know the Ohio Players sang those songs!! And even though the review didn't give kudos to Con Funk Shun....they put it down with Love Train....that lead singer on that song sounded exactly like the song back in the day.

That show was OFF THE HOOK GOOD! Loved It. Ain't no party like an ol' school party. Happy to be born in a time when music was real music and people played instruments!

Why wasn't this show promoted a little more heavily? I didn't even know something great like this was even coming to town? Shame on the promoters for not making a big deal of this. It was. Wish I knew bout it before this article.

All the bands kept asking"Where is Balls Deep"? Like we care that you weren't there.
