in an informal inreview in Russia, richter once referred to his first admirers, the 7 semyanov sisters. he may have been 16 or 18 at the time
these sisters had disvovered the young maestro.
however he described them as " strange birds ".

All right the site in reference i have been unable to find back and I am now looking for the russian words he used that were translated into " strange birds"

what russian words did richter use to describe the 7 semyanov sisters who were his first admirers when he was 14, or 15 or so.I refer to the translation of : " these semyanov sisters were rather " strange birds " ""
