Oldies but goodies expected at 'Graffiti'

"IF YOU hear a bunch of middle-aged males at the Pomona Fox Theater quizzing each other with the question "Where were you in '62?", they're not latter-day Perry Masons trying to sweat out a confession."
I understand the "oldies but goodies" angle to promote the screening of American Graffiti at the Fox Theatre, and of course the vintage cars won't be the only oldies. Yet please don't assume thqt just "oldies" love this movie! I wasn't anywhere near a teenager in '62 but I LOVED it, as do my kids, who are young adults now.
American Graffiti is a movie that I believe resonates with most people coming of age in America in any time period...graduating from high school and making life decisions, the adolescent hijinks, the music, relationships, and so forth. Times may have been simpler back then but certain situations and feelings never change.
At any rate, I'm so glad that the Fox Theatre will be screening this movie!

Dave, I'd long heard the ending race between John Milner & Harrison Ford's Bob Falfa was shot over in the Phillips Ranch area, can you confrm that?

Don, I'm pretty sure the whole thing was shot in and around Petaluma and Marin County, but I don't know enough to say for sure.
