Chad McQueen quits acting

Up Encinal Canyon in Malibu in 1972 I met your dad at a track. He drove me to your house up Broad Beach with my bike in his green van and for a while we hung out together. I went to the Elton John concert with you at the Hollywood Bowl. You were about 12 and I was 15. To help you remember I rode a Hodaka 125 and did long wheelies. My only reason for doing this is to contact you through a proper channel. I really don't know any other way to do this. I'm writing a book and I respectfully want you to approve the parts about you and your family as I remember it. Can you do that? I was also very sorry to hear about your dad and Terry as the years went along. Casey

Chad, I have thoroughly enjoyed the biography about your dad, "McQueen's Machines" written by Matt Stone with a foreword by you. I happen to own another Hudson which was owned by your dad and sold at the Las Vegas auction. This lovely 1953 Hudson Hornet 4 door sedan has the original factory interior and the engine rebuild was done by your dad. I have all build receipts, his title and 1979 California plates. I'd love to share pictures with you. Jerry

Hello Chad. I'm 33 years old and my 2 year old adores the Karate Kid . I didn't know until just recent that you're Steve mcqueens son. First I said , hmmm don't look much like his dad but you know what ? When I look closer and especially scenes in KK, you are the spitting image of dad WOW!! Well whatever makes u happy go for it and wishing u all the best.
