You mean Saint Barack hasn't closed Gitmo yet? That was one of his main issues during the election. wtf? Then again, Democrats gained control of Congress in 2006 on the promise that the troops would be home from Iraq in twelve months. How's that going, Nancy and Harry? If Bush was so wrong and evil, how come you haven't expedited these things?

Good to hear you finally supporting Democrats expediting closing Gitmo now, exiting Iraq now, and un-doing Bush's "wrong and evil" madness. Really soon, Obama will sign healthcare reform into reality, too. You're on the side of American voters now, Fergie.

Who really cares that Stephen Colbert signed some petition? Are there really people out there who believe that because some Hollywood star signs something it adds legitimacy?

So South Carolina is getting GITMO prisoners. More waste of taxpayers dollars. An excellent prison and Obama doesn't want prisoners there. Lindsay Graham...wants it?!?!

Maybe Steve has a better place for them to stay, perhaps we could fence in Hollywood and put them there.

Since Colbert is probably quite wealthy, I see no reason why he wouldn't build a guest house on his property for them. Anyone who feels this strongly about closing Club Gitmo should also be right there to provide the solution to the question of what to do with the inmates. Unfortunately, it has been my observation that the people among us with the grandest ideas for social justice and sharing the wealth are the ones least likely to open their own wallets. We may learn that some of the inmates are in the Bahamas enjoying the sun and planning to open a restaurant on the US taxpayers' dime.(Or did I already hear this?)

They can't close it until they find a home for the "victims". Unless Colbert is suggesting we off them. I'm sure some Mideastern country would take them.

We were attacked at 9/11 by mideasterners. How could our occupation cause terrorism if we never occupied? I guess there was the first gulf war we should have kept our nose out of.
