The father never seemed to fit with the sons, either. I never got into too many sitcoms, although I loved the Golden Girls and All in the Family for the ensemble performances--practically a dead art these days. I was a BIG fan of "Columbo", and I'm still a big fan of Law & Order. And L & O is one of the few shows that had gay characters that they treated just as regular people, unlike any other show I can think of.(And Sarena turned out to be a lesbian !:))(Then she got fired.:()

I think most other people thought so also, because the show wasn't renewed for a second season. Not to change the subject but..... one of my FAV movies is on now. "Little Big Man" Remember the gay Native American in that movie ?(that scene was just on). The character may have been amusing at the time, but now I find it very insulting. I first saw the movie in 1974, before I was out. It is a GREAT movie. LOL (I also have the script on my other pc, along with the script for ALIENS which is just about my FAV movie of all time.:))

My work had nothing to do with the show or sex. He was a very fair and kind but he liked to show boat and spend money on lots of crap like art. No gay crew member? Job scared! Everyone in that cast was a sex nut or you did not get work.I would love to tell you more but that would be unkind.

As you watched them go diligently about their various duties, their sexual orientation was simply not a factor. Star Fleet, at the time, had a "no ask, no tell" policy.

Sex is when the short arm foes hard and it because of m or F people/ Gender is when a woman who may have been a man would rather talk to an other woman like her than a man with that third leg rising. unless he is straight and sees her as a woman. the gay guy want to have a talk with all of his sex to discuss how much in love he is with them. And who will talk to them in a highter voice.
