I think we can all except that that's not the case.
First rule of news reporting-never divulge a preference--that's why home chick was tossed

Journalists who report their opinions are columnists in print and commentators ion air. Oberidiot and Matthews, during their election coverage have demonstrated unabashed infatuation with BO, despite their purportedly acting as unbiased reporters.

BTW, if you Google MSNBC, you'll see how they describe themselves "Msnbc.com is a leader in breaking news and original journalism"

Yipes.

Bad news for those that don't like Fox.

Obama, Hillary and Dean have all appeared on Fox recently. They really didn't want to do it but they know more democrats and independants watch Fox than the other cable news garbage.

To me Fox is too liberal but what can you do?

Fox is the most fair and balanced news source on television. They report both the good and bad about all stories, and that is why I watch them. It appears as if MSNBC is a bit jealous and a tad bitter about getting absolutely destroyed in the ratings by Fox News and losing 3/4 of their viewer ship at the same time. Maybe they could try something like telling the truth for once.
You have GOT to be kidding. Listen, Fox 'News' leans HEAVILY to the right, and NEVER says anything bad about Republican candidates, that I have seen.
They can be called 'fair and balanced' when they stop being Bush's mouthpiece.

Here's the true one: open-minded CONSERVATIVE. Frankly, I am of 'open mind'... but I do NOT buy into the conservative bullhockey on most things. In fact, global warming being a fraud is pretty much the ONLY thing that I agree with conservatives on, because I have done RESEARCH and have found that it is a load of bullplop, to put it mildly.

Yeah, Fox is a great source for news and information. I was flicking through the channels late last year and stopped on Fox. Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo Rivera, and Danny Bonaduci were discussing the war in Iraq. It was a regular meeting of the minds.

You are probably thinking Kieth Olbermann...he's a left-wing hack and that's fine, but I hate it when leftists refuse to admit that most news sources are left-leaning. It's a fact. As far as FOX goes, they are indeed the most fair. At least they present both sides of an argument rather than ONLY the liberal side. Anyone who is right-leaning is on an "opinion" or editorial broadcast....when delivering hard news they are objective and non-biased.
Excuse me, but the only reason that most news sources are 'left-leaning' is that most liberals are a hell of a lot more educated than most conservatives, thereby being in news more than conservatives are.
Yes, the Baltimore Sun leans left. Yes, the USA Today leans left. But that is because these people are more educated and can SEE THROUGH the conservatives lies and know, from watching over NUMEROUS years, that conservatism leads to a country being LESS well-off, not more.

Extreme liberalism leads to a world where everyone is treated equal (something that conservatives HATE because they would then not be able to look down their noses at other people openly for fear of rightly being ostracized), where everyone is given things equally, and where we no longer have 'wars'.

You are open minded, yet you only agree with conservatives on one issue? Seems like you may be a little more biased than you think.

Contrary to the biased and malicious report of MSNBC, FOX NEWS' firing of the intern who told McCain that she voted for him is a sign of unbiased journalism of the FOX administration instead of a sign that the intern did not get a memo which tells her to pretend to be fair and balanced.

Don Abrams should be fired by MSNBC for slandering FOX NEWS by talking as if FOX NEWS had issued a memo that says, "you are supposed to pretend you are fair and balanced."

I'm sure such a memo does not exist because only Don Abrams would be stupid enough to think the administration of any news station would issue such a self-incriminating memo.

As a matter of fact I found FOX NEWS to be the most fair and balanced. While the news anchors of Fox dare to expose the problems about the inflammatory rant of Jeremiah Wright, the Black Value System of Obama's church and Obama's unrepentant terrorist friend Bill Ayers, most TV stations and other mass media are behaving like flunkies for Obama and they need no memo to hush up on the bad things about obama at all.

Wikipedia has even gone so far as to sanitize the article about Bill Ayers it had online earlier to cover up his terrorist activities such as bombing the Pentagon and the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. The article also tries to exonerate Bill Ayers unrepentance of setting bombs by twisting the meaning of the words "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough."

The fact that the Obama camp can manipulate Wikipedia to whitewash an unrepentant 60's terrorist associated with Obama gives us an omen of more severe political censorship and dictatorial rule in the USA should he succeed in fooling enough Americans in this presidential election.

Good job FOX NEWS. The Master of Slandering, Don Abrams, should resign in shame if he is not fired by the biased adminstration of MSNBC.

Oh ,,, That explains why conservatives are attacked when they try to speak on campuses? Yes ... you are all so enlightened and open minded.
Of course you don't mind giving Akmadinajad a forum to speak... and wouldn't think of turning your backs on him.

How do you know the education levels of most conservatives? You are a typical leftist / Communist, thinking your smarter than the rest. Your Communist "utopia" fell on it's face in the USSR in case you didn't notice...and what about the Gulag, eh? How many millions died because they didn't toe the leftist political line, you liberal b***h? What conservatives want is equal opportunity, unlike you commies who want to manufacture "equality of results" by bringing standards down and by stealing from succesful people and giving handouts to lazy people. So liberal, talk about education level....what do you suppose the education level of your precious gang-banger ghetto crowd is? Care to speculate? Take your arrogant "smarter than you" attitude and shove it up your ass, Marxist. You love Communism but don't even know enough about it to see how destuctive and murderous it is. Go back to school, liberal.

I think that if you only rely on one media source that you're not going to get a balanced view. Unfortunately, bias creeps into reporting in so many ways that it's virtually impossible to stop it. So-called news these days has too many "sound bites", just a small fraction of what the person actually said, which can lead to the story not being fairly reported. A negative story can be run over an over on one station and barely reported on another, giving it an undue emphasis. Certain news items can be ignored by one station and over-emphasized by another. Accurate reporting of what is being reported can be biased by not reporting the full story, thereby making the story unbalanced and out-of-context. We consumers, I think, have too much of a tendency to want everything handed to us on a platter, short and sweet and simple, but most issues aren't that way. We need to switch around, watch different stations, even the one's we don't care for, and make up our own minds. We also need to look into more in-depth reporting instead of getting little slivers of news items. Lastly, we need to keep open minds and stop labelling each other. I'm conservative on some issues, moderate on others and liberal on others. I'm a pragmatist, not an ideologue. God didn't come down and give anyone a corner on the market of politics.

Faux news is a ridiculous joke. They're like the video version of those stupid newspaper tabloids like the Enquirer or Star.

Any episode of SpongeBob SquarePants has more credibility than the verbal regurgitation that is spewed out of that waste of broadcast frequency.

Sounds like this FauxNews story is bothering you. Bushbots always strike out at others when a fault of thier own is exposed.
Get a life.... NBC, CBS, ABC aren't biased...and the farmer hauled another load away.... So what if Fox is biased. What some people don't realize, all news is biased because it written by humans, not God. If you don't prefer Fox News, push the button, and change the channel. Not difficult to do but liberals, have difficulty finding the proper button.

"Its the ratings Stupid" FOX news ,Bill O'Reilly destroy the others day after day...The differance of viewers who look at msnbc, and fox,is huge.

In essence no one is really watching msnbc, cbs, abc, nbc.Only their dyed in the wool liberal audience.

I know this is painful to the Loony left.Soro's gets heart burn. When Clinton, and Obama appeared on Fox,those ratings were extremely high.

Which leads me to believe,Fox is the leader. That being the case, their competition will say,or do anything to discredit Fox....A severe case of an inferiorly complex they have .

I know it Tickles and Tickles ,and Burns the loony Left in their butts. More people watch FOX,than all the others together, every nite!. But thats They Way It Is.
So all "pinheads" accept this with out whinning..well I "BLOVIATED" enough already......"The Spin Does Not Stop Here"LOL!!
