Lol ok, Slipknot are awful cos of their hateful sounding singer, crunchy music that is not melodic, they just look and sound angsty and terrible.
True talent lies in progressive rock/metal, go listen to Dream Theater as a good example, they have amazing lyrics, varied lyrical themes, a good singer in Labrie, and each and every band member are highly talented musicians, Dream Theater have soul, as do a lot of prog bands/good rock bands, Slipknot lack this magic ingredient that makes musicians great rather than just very average.

what a bunch of retards, even this "tyler" guy who thinks he is some sort of classical composer beathoven master mind prodigy. saying slipknot lacks originality is just about the most retarded thing anyone could say, THE ORIGINALITY is why so many poeple hate slipknot in the first place, because they dont conform to the norm. and "true talent" is abscent in modern american metal, only system of a down, slipknot, and mastodon are good the rest are all the same and all suck and are generic, thats why the guy above me couldnt be more wrong. this is not just opinion, its the truth. those three bands i mentiond are the only good modern metal bands from america that i can find, and i have SEARCHED for more. believe me. now here here, no one in slipknot is the best at what they do (drums, guitar, turn tables etc) and none of them would try to say they are, but when they form slipknot they are EASILY one of the best things metal music has going for it right now. and a grammy for best live band pretty much says it all, and they are infact the best live band there has ever been, all the rest just stand there, do there songs, sound mediocre, and thats it. watch some "diasterpieces" concert footage on you tube and watch how slipknot destroy your favorite little generic band to smitherines. another thing, slipknot are no simplistic, one of the things that draws me into slipknot is the amount of stuff going on, nine layers of music all woven together. its interesting unlike these generic metal bands that people try to say are better than slipknot. i would like to see any of you turd brains creat something on the level of brutality and complexity of what slipknot have. SLIPKNOT is its own thing entirely, they cant be compared to any other band. i also love MASTODON and i realize they are probably more advanced musicians when it comes to an orthodox way of writing songs but like i said, slipknot is its own thing ENTIRELY and NO ONE will ever be able to fuck with them especialy not this little tyler moron who probably doesnt even like real hard-core music anymore cus he's a little spaz who thinks he's too good for it and needs his "complex progression of chords" to say "i like this" so he can feel like he has the best taste in music.

Ok first off when slipknot released there first album they also released a few paragraphs saying they eat each others puke. They piss and shit on one another for pleasure. so they drink piss eat puke and shit in a big pile. Now they hide that article and deny it. why u may ask because they getting rich and u magots are supporting them. second off true metal bands do not accept grammies. metal is for tough guys they ride in tour buses with busted shocks not in a fucking limo like a pop star. them accepting a grammy has 13 year old kids thinking there tough because they listen to metal. seriously dude look at these magot kids. If a band writes there name where u cant read it thats metal they put heart and soul in music and have pride. something slipknot knows nothing about. ok this sums it all up slipknot to metal is like marky mark and the funky bunch to rap! there a joke. joey jorgson or whatever his name is a cocky bastard. hes not even in the top 1,000 drummers in the world. he is too much into his self. also now he says the mask makes him puke thats why they eat there own puke thats garbage. I don't fully understand why people hate on Slipknot so much, because I am a fan of them but I don't go around and talk trash about other bands or types of music, because I don't care what other people like, it's their opinion. So why people hate on Slipknot? I think people do because everyone thinks that all of Slipknot's fans are emo teenagers. That in itself is an ignorant statement, considering its not true, because I'm not emo or gothic, and very many of their fans aren't either. Also, most of the haters have probably only heard 1 song by Slipknot, if that. So, most people just assume it's emo music and say it's stupid.

Slipknot fans are certainly not egoistic! We are not only one to say they think the band is most talented, because i also heard fans of AC/DC, Black sabbath, Dimmu borgir, Mayhem, Burzum, Cannibal corpse, Britney spears, Kreator, Metallica, Gun's'roses, Justin bieber, Aqua, Hannah Montannah, High school musical and so on, always say there's bands are the best. If i quote you correctly, then im going so say that through you are so hardcore to music *cough cough, proofs please*, then you are going to be dissapointed. Why did you study and practice music, when you isn't going to be a good musician anyway? Why blame Slipknot for not being complex enough, when it dosen't matter? |
