Rajesh Khanna absent at Samanta's funeral.... - Bollywood News ...

When the legendary movie maker Shakti Samanta passed away few days back, condolences were arriving from stars like Shammi Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, Asha Parekh, Mithun Chakraborty etc., but then one man was quite conspicuous with his absence. He is none other than the iconic Rajesh Khanna. Interestingly, he achieved superstardom through the movies of Shakti such as 'Kati Patang''Amar Prem''Aradhana' and others. Shakti da's sons are still not sure what could be the reason for the former superstar not getting in touch. Hope Rajesh Khanna is reading this.

Now this is too late to discuss, as Kakaji has already sent his condolence message to Sri Asim Samanta (son of Late Shaktida), which we have already read via net. If needed, I will try to search the link and will post the same in this very forum.

This is not too late to discuss as he has only passed away a few weeks ago also we discuss RK films which are over 40 YEARS old. so why not discuss this?

Again futile discussion; I have heard via net that while asking sons of Late Shaktida about absence of Kakaji in the said funeral event; they replied that it is only Kakaji who visited Shaktida during his hospitalisation and perhaps owing to some very genuine reason he is unable to attend the funeral. Later I also gone through Kaka's condolence message via net (google search). So why to discuss it and what is to be discussed here??????????
