Avril Harper

Hi all,

The reason I've read through a lot of these posts, is that in the past I have bought some of Ms. Harper's products and although not always bang up to date, they do contain many nuggets of very useful information - indeed I was going to buy the one about selling old postcards on Ebay - but I've changed my mind. I guess I was just curious about other's views on Ms. Harper and her products though and that is what made me read on.

Anyway, I've changed my mind not because of the quality of the author's work, but because as I was reading through the posts, a saying came to me that a business instructor from my local Chamber of Commerce used to use. He started most lectures with it; its simple and SO accurate.

The saying is:'Remember, nobody loves you!'

Put simply, it means that no-one (outside of family and close friends perhaps)really gives a damn about YOU and whether you succeed or fail in life OR in business!

So cutting through all the waffle, I'd say this folks: If you really want to have a go at running your own business, then get real professional and unbiased help. Consult your local Chamber of Commerce, ask around family and friends who run their own businesses. If you're out of work, ask at your local job centre about Business Link courses.

And always remember this: If you had the lottery numbers for THIS week's draw would you REALLY tell anyone else what they are?

I think its all been said before George and yes you are right.
However,I cant see any chamber of commerce telling you how to sell postcards or anything else that is offered by Avril Harper or the likes.They dont sell conventional business information and what they do sell is outdated and mostly available for free somewhere on the internet.They just leave their information posted on a web page waiting for some other mug to buy it.
I honestly believe that anyone selling business information on the net should be monitored and made to prove its worth before being allowed to put up web pages and sell them.As the saying goes,"if its too good to be true,it probably is".

I have been a customer of Avril Harper for several years - and I don't know who "Pete" (if that's his name) is dealing with but it's not the Avril Harper that I know.
I have had email replies and I have spoken to Avril on the phone on a couple of occasions.
Bit of advice mate - before you slag someone off why don't you actually TRY to make the advice work instead of sitting on your smug arse trying to affect someone who actually makes an effort?

Thats the whole point of this forum.People have tried but no one seems to have made the information work in the manner stated by Avril Harper or any of the others selling similar things.

The offer of someone coming forward and telling us alll that this information works has never been accepted if you read all of the replies.Dont you think that just maybe there is nothing to tell?

You obviously have had more contact with Avril than anyone else it seems but can we assume that the information you have worked on has earned you the money suggested in Avril Harpers statements?
please feel free to tell us all.

To sum up "mate" stating facts is not slagging anyone off and yes,people on here have already tried,thats the whole point of this forum.Until someone shows us proof that these wonderful businesess work,we will all sit back on our "smug Arses"and see more mugs taking the bait and parting with their money buying another useless product.
I dont suppose my 40 years in business dealing with people counts for anything so dont listen to anything I say,just find out for yourself.

We all look forward to hearing about the results of your efforts and lets hope that you are the one to bring us all the proof we have been hoping for.

Fast forward 3 years and as of today she has a feedback of over 2000+

Not sure what you mean by fast forward 3 years Sharon??
However,I can see that over a period of 6 years 7 months she has feedback of 1979.If you work on simple maths,this works out at25 a month.recently,she has only 16 per month.
If you look at the feedback you will see that quite a few relate to purchases,not sales.There is no evidence at all of grand earnings from any sort of business activity and certainly non that would give us the impression of a successful business woman.Not from these figures.
Look at people on Ebay who are generating thousands of feedback a month and you are more likely to be interested in how they make money not those that sell business ideas with no proof that they work to any profitable level.
It would be more interesting for all of us on here,to see what Avril earns from selling business ideas but that is not going to happen.

I am a uk citizen now living in australa since 2010 and attended to a discussion breakfast given to all local businesses about leadership and management .
Her comments, scenarios and experiences were spot on, and certainly portrayed my recent issues.
Avril was the best public speaker I have come across in ages, she was jovial, interesting and certainly spoke from the heart.
There was no PowerPoint information, pauses or reading from cards, the topic flowed from her.
Her statistics were well assessed in realistic situations and, she was not offensive at all.
The team that attended immediately potential areas to improvise and we discussed it with all staff in team meeting.
I could have listened to her longer, and will certainly y her recent book.

Im impressed,so she is a good speaker.So are politicians and look how they lie to us!!
